Stayed in Unit #1.This condo.has everthing.Big Screen TV with DVD and Bose sound system along with 27"TV's in both bedrooms downstairs.Private bathrooms along with a loft that sleeps as many as 6.Big gas bar-b-q on one of the 4 balconies and a wood burning stove to add the ambiance. The kitchen is well appointed and has all the necessary tools to make a great meal. The Livingroom looks out onto the heavily wooded grounds and the Pines were full of snow from a recent storm.Add the vintage European Art on the walls and we felt we were in a cabin in the Alps! And now the best...you never need to get in your car for anything! The mountain shuttle picks you up across the street and drops you off just as close. You can walk to the best restaurants and bars on Old Mammoth Road and "Footloose"Ski Shop is on the corner for any equipment issues that arise. The property has two jacuzzis,a pool, and a sauna for after a fun day sking or fishing(spring and summer)and we can't wait to go back! And get this.....It's really reasonable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We stayed in Unit #1 and was super impressed. Beautifully remodeled kitchen and perfectly laid out living room with expansive views of natural topography. The artwork on the walls all lit with dedicated lighting and dimmer switches made for really cool nighttime dining all set off by a wood burning stove that you can gaze into while watching TV or listening to the great sound system this unit had. What's even better is that 1 of it's 4 balconies overlook Old Mammoth Road and the Trolley line, (which picks you up across the street) and all the mountain life that is so interesting to watch. Our parking spots were directly in front of the condo. which you can see from this balcony so moving in and out was a breeze. This unit also has a private bathroom for each bedroom as well as one in the living room which made our trip really enjoyable. The loft was HUGE and laid out nicely. Short walk to the Pool, Jacuzzi, and Sauna made this unit really stand out as many of them overlook this area which can get noisy. We loved this complex....and especially this Unit #1 !

My family had a wonderful stay at this complex and condominium #1.The unit is obviously someones pride and joy and the beautiful art and furnishings exemplify it.The unit is beautifully laid out with large flat screen TV's in the living room and both bedrooms and each are fully equipped with Tivo and their own sound systems. Both bedrooms have their own private bathrooms and there is a third bathroom off the living room which is close to the upstairs loft which also has its own full service vanity. This loft is huge with a queen and two twin beds.Everyone had their own area to shower and get going in the morning and for an early departure of fun on the mountain.I can't emphasize how fantastic this was for us as a group. This place is big and has 4 balconies, one which is just off the living room filled with wood,so adding logs to the fire was super easy.Great lighting thru-out made our evenings with the glow of the wood burning Lopi stove nights to remember. The property has two Jacuzzi's,a pool and walk-in sauna as well.We walked to everything from this unit, never having to get in the car once! The shuttle literally picks you up across the street! We will definitely be back to Unit #1 next year! Thank you Sierra Park Villas!

We liked the overall condo property at Sierra Park Villas - plenty of parking, clean, jacuzzi, etc.; and central to stores/restaurants.

Our condo #59 was very clean and had all the basic elements. However we will not go back until they improve the following at SPV #59:
- electrical: sign in condo reads to not have too many appliances on at same time or circuits blow -- which they did a dozen times or so. we could not have lights and heaters on at same time. needs upgrade!
- no wifi -- how can a rental not have wifi in today's world??!!!
- heating - no central heater, and condo is open air 3 story, so all heat rises easily to third floor meaning those upstairs are hot, while those downstairs are cold.
- master bedroom not enclosed, one wall is curtained -- it would not take much effort to enclose the 4th wall. This would be a necessity for me to return. Master bedrooms need privacy.

The location is very good, a five minute walk from the Von's shopping Center and multiple restaurants. Also, you can take Meridian to the Eagle Lodge ski life at Mammoth resort to get access to the entire mountain.

The unit itself is a little tired, but very clean and serviceable, and had most everything you might need for a short or extended stay. There was heavy snow when we were there, and management was out keeping the pathways and doorways clear, and were very responsive to any requests.

We spent two nights here. The apartment is spacious and nice. However if you are traveling with kids or a group of friends don't expect any privacy as bedrooms are in an open layout. Kitchen worked fine. Pool and spa was nice and clean. There are restaurants close by. All in all this worked really well for us.

Just returned from several night stay at SPV. First night was in #61. We asked if we could switch the next morning. The lack of curtains upstairs limited clothes changing to the bathroom! That condo also could use some updating in its decor from the 70s. Plus side it was very quiet and had a large tv with parking just outside. We then moved into #80 which DH and I really liked. It had been recently updated and was cutely designed with a bears and friends theme. You could spend an hour trying to count all of the bears in the decor!

As others have mentioned, this complex is an easy walk to the Von's which is currently under renovation. We also were able to walk to the Sierra Sundance Whole Foods store. It is very well stocked, especially if you are vegan, gluten free or managing other food allergies. The gluten free section at Von's was surprisingly also pretty good.

We also enjoyed two local businesses... Salsa's and Mimi's Cookie Bar. Both are on the same side of Old Mammoth and across the street from Von's.

The Complex is on the shuttle line but we didn't get to use it this time. Right now is a great time to visit Mammoth because there is still snow in spots at Horseshoe Lake and on the slopes but not too many visitors.

We hope to return soon.

The only negative is to the town and that is there is no collection of recyclables with garbage. If you put bottles etc. in the trash, they will go to the city landfill. There are some drop offs in town including Von's, or you could opt to take them home as we did. Even tho we didn't discover this till our second day in, we had two full plastic bags of recyclables from two people.

We wanted a nice place in Mammoth and found Sierra Park Villas, on Old Mammoth Road. We had first stayed here in 1987 and found the location is wonderful. It is a block from the supermarket, across the street from good restaurants, and on the main ski shuttle line. Great to be able to park the car for the time we were there.. The apartment where we stayed, #11, has been newly furnished and appointed, and is very comfortable. The management are helpful, and the amenities in both the apartment and complex are good. There are 2 big spa pools, with a sauna room. And in summer it looks like there is a large pool. Can sleep 6 with 3 bathrooms.

If you are looking for an airy, comfortable, park-like setting, convenient location in Mammoth- this is the place. It's right in the middle of the town of Mammoth Lakes. You can walk to restaurants, shops, grocery store, book store, coffee shops, Mammoth Creek Park, bike trails.... You can bike ride anywhere from here or ride the shuttle from here to take you to the lakes, Eagle Lodge, the Village and up to Main Mountain.

There's a pleasant mid-size pool amongst the trees and two jacuzzi's, & sauna room. And a community gas grill.
Parking is free and close to your unit.
If you are looking for fancy 5-star, this is not for you.
If you are looking for comfort & convenience at an affordable price.... check it out!
