We had rented a condo for the Christmas Holidays, but an incoming snow storm the day we arrived forced us to drive up late at night the day before. We had dogs, so our options were limited at last minute, but the Westin saved the day. Perfectly located next to the village, so you have quick access to all the...

Just returned from a four night stay at the Westin in a deluxe studio suite with my wife and three kids ages 16, 14 & 13. Not really meant to accommodate five people, but we managed to make it work as that was the only option available – good thing we like each other… PROS: Super convenient location. Easy walk...

This hotel is in the perfect location as it is literally right in front of the Village area of Mammoth and the gondola ride. The hotel was a bit busy but it was Christmas weekend. The rooms all have mini kitchen amenities. The only issue was dinner at their restaurant. We were a party of 7 with 2 young kids...

We wanted a hotel with kitchen - more convenient with a toddler, and also a separate bedroom area. This is a pricey option but convenient because it is walking distance to the shops/restaurants at the village. It was still a little noisier than I would like because of the summer concerts in the village.

I wish could give this hotel less than one star, because this was by far the worst Westin I've ever experienced. Considering the ridiculous room rates they charge, you would think this Westin would deliver top-notch service. That's not even close to the service I experienced here. The front desk was largely incompetent the entirely time I stayed there. The...

The property is fine, pool great, lobby acceptable. Some nice touches like the ski valet st the gondola. The bell staff are 6* and would be at place on the Riviera! But all that cannot solve the fundamental issues of this property; 1 - Sofa bed was less comfortable than my college dorm futon. Seriously my back needs surgery after...

We stayed for one night in Mammoth Lakes during the winter, which, if you are not skiing, is a bit limited. Having said that, the Westin is a beautiful property and the room as outstanding. We had a room with a living room (with fireplace), and it was wonderful. The pool and hot tub, both outside were open and the...

Hadn't skied Mammoth in years so when we returned this Dec., we wanted to be walking distance to activities apres ski. This location is really perfect for that as you are part of the Village with restaurants and shops including a Mammoth Ski Resort store so you don't have to shop for souvenirs on the mtn as they have the...

From the outset the shuttle service pick up from the airport, in the dark of night and below freezing temps was a welcomed sight. The hotel is approx 15 mins drive from the airport and on arrival the staff on the front desk were bubbly and efficient to appoint the room. An offer of champagne was given and welcomed. The...

The room was spacious. The service was efficient The hotel is very nicely located next to good food and the center of action. We ate breakfast at the restaurant - It was ok. I think the room rate was on the higher side for the level of luxury/experience. Otherwise a good place to stay.
