Stayed for a night there on the recent visit to Mammoth Lakes in the summer. I like that the hotel has underground parking. The room has a good size and relatively clean. The bathroom is very small though and could use additional space. The front desk lady that checked us in was not courteous. The room was not air conditioned. I understand that AC is not needed for most of the days in that area, but in some summer days like when we stayed there, the room became too warm and humid, uncomfortable. Fan was provided but did not help much. For this reason, this hotel did not score high in my book.

I am sorry your room was uncomfortable, While we can't make the bathrooms any bigger, this allowed us to keep the rooms themselves large, for easier moving about and enjoying the mountains and lakes

This hotel has clean facilities, courteous staff, and reasonable rates. It is also close to the ski lifts, Main Lodge, and dining spots. I was greeted by a very congenial receptionist who was very warm and friendly despite the fact that I arrived at 11:45 p.m. . I had a very pleasant experience staying there and enjoyed the quiet and comfortable room that was equipped with a nice size TV and offered an abundant number of cable channels to enjoy.

The title sums it up but wanted to add that the place could use some fresh paint in the rooms and a better breakfast setup and the elevator could use a tune-up. Could not identify the smell, possibly musty odor, but super strong in the lobby area, but did not notice in the room. Do have to mention that the antique heater worked surprisingly well.

We stayed due to high prices in Mammoth Lakes, but wish - in the age of COVID - we had sprung for one of the higher end places. This one would be fine under normal circumstances, just a place to sleep on a road trip, nothing special or nice and pretty worn out and dated, but fine. They just didn't inspire confidence as to their cleaning regimen, after talking with the more expensive properties. The latter did "extra" things like having touchless check-in, hand sanitizer available everywhere, marking their lobby with 6' spacing decals, and letting rooms "rest" for 24 hours after cleaning and fog disinfecting. In the future, until the virus is behind us, we'll bite the bullet and spend (a lot) more to feel safer.

I am sorry you felt unsafe, We have added more floor decals to our lobby and breakfast area, as for hand sanitizers we have them in lobby breakfast and at front desk and are looking into putting them into rooms, we still maintain 24 hours rest periods between rentals for rooms, and disinfect all rooms prior to rent. We also serve breakfast by not allowing guests to serve themselves and we have breakfast attendant serve the guests wearing proper PPE . Housekeeping also never go into room unless guest requests it, and they vacate room while housekeeping goes in with proper PPE equipment, which is gloves masks goggles, that room is then re disinfected prior to guest coming back in. While we do not have keyless entry for our rooms, this allows us to better address personally anything you or guests might need right way. again we hope you will consider staying with us again,

We made a reservation for 6 days for this hotel. On the second day, the air quality index for Mammoth got into the red/purple zone, and the room literally filled with smoke.

We asked to check out early. They said that because we had already checked in, there was no way to cancel our reservation without paying "full price" for the room for the first two nights. They then quoted the "full price" as $100 higher than the full price shown on the back of the hotel room door.

Do not trust this hotel. Quality Inn is a franchise, so they have skin in the game in terms of reservations and will not help you even in a case when cars are streaming out of Mammoth due to a wildfire.

The hotel seems clean but they are not enforcing COVID-19 compliant rules. Curing breakfast hours, they don’t ask people to stay social distance. Most of the guests are not wearing masks and the staff don’t seem to care.

We stayed one night during August 2021. We checked in and get to our room, the temp is like 80 F. The room stays that temp for the whole evening, and we had to open the window to sleep for the whole night. Even outside is at 50 F, the rooms stays at 70 F.

If you like sauna from 3pm - midnight, this is for you. Or, if you enjoy AC during a HOT summer, please DON"T book from this place.

To be honest, some other hotels in the Mammoth Lakes area don't have AC, so please check before book in this area.

Hotel is good for a quick night stay en route to / from nearby outdoor adventures, but that's about it.
I stayed there year ago w a buddy before days backpacking. It was fine then. Just stayed w my 8 year old and it was seemingly worse. The floor in our room was warped, musty and moved with every step. If you have balance issues or older, def a tripping hazard. Overall room and hotel maintenance leaves a lot to be desired.
Breakfast was only fine. Wet powdered eggs, cheap yoplait sugar bomb yogurt and cereal. The coffee had caffeine and was hot is the best I could say about it. My son was less than pleased w the options and he's not a picky eater.
The one nice thing was free parking
And maybe best upgrade this year to my last stay is the front desk staff smiled this year and wasn't drunk and sipping on a bottle all night. So at least they're doing better.
I will be hard pressed to stay here again and only if I'm in grubby backpacker gear for a quick stopover

Overall, my 8 year old summed it up best when he said to me "quality suites.... sure.... but where is the quality?"

This hotel is desperately in need of an update. There is no air conditioning anywhere so fans are plentifully placed throughout the property. Our smoke alarm was beeping mercilessly when we arrived, and the sink doesn’t drain. Pros? It is clean. Check in was easy. However, when I reported the beeping alarms, I was chastised for trying to troubleshoot the issue myself. This property should not be classified as a quality inn though - it’s not at the standard anyone would expect.

This is not a fancy place , but the location is excellent and for Mammoth it offers a very good price. Convenient underground parking , nice staff , decent TV and internet. If you don't mind walking it is an easy 10 minute stroll to "downtown". If you don't like to walk there are several restaurants within 200 yards.
NOTE >> there is no AC , so on a very hot day it could be a bit uncomfortable.

I stayed in a King Room, but usually a suite has a bedroom that is separate from the sitting and TV area. These is usually a small couch. Check with the hotel if you want to know for sure.
