First time in Philly for a weekend stay with my girlfriends. The location you can't beat.... you're close to shops, dining, and nearby entertainment. We were on the 23rd floor which was the concierge floor and the view was amazing. The only thing I wanted to point out in our room was the picture on our TV kept going out.

The property is not exactly the pride of the hotel chain. I have been staying there occasionally for years. The peeling blistered paint throughout the bathroom ceiling was not acceptable. The paint obviously didn't start peeling yesterday so anyone who is responsible either didn't look up or care. I'm not talking about a small blister or flake. December 5th. Room...

I was a bit nervous when I saw our room was next to the pool, but it was for nothing. There were kids running in and out and we didn't hear a thing. It was a bit hard to figure out where the entrance was. The address is Market Street but you get to the valet off Filbert Street. We...

Arrived at midnight and there is no room service after 11, seriously, in a downtown hotel? One tower of rooms are very strange, almost "Lovecraftian" - seriously, our room is a giant square with ceilings that must be 22' high! What is up with that? Wireless is $13/day because it is (of course) 1998 and no one offers free wifi...

This hotel is a bit dated and the common areas are a bit odd on the first floor. Large hotel that hosts conventions. Nice center lobby bar and also traditional bar by the restaurant. Yet when a convention is there, it is packed and the small Starbucks can have a 30 person line. The staff was really consistently strong. From...

If you are looking for an excellent location for touring Philadelphia, then this hotel is a good choice. With three exits each to different streets, it was easy to get moving in whichever direction interests you. There are many excellent restaurants within a block of the hotel, and there is virtually nothing you cannot see within a walk or a...

My brother and I recently stayed a weekend here. It was a nice hotel. Clean and comfortable room. As a gold elite member, it was nice to be able to get some breakfast in the concierge lounge. It was also very convenient to Septa. The only issue we ran into was the toilet kept blocking up.

Rooms are average. No hot water on the 2nd night of our stay. Front desk would not do anything to compensate and told us we would just have to wait. Missed our dinner reservations due to not showering

I travel to Philly a lot for business and have stayed in many properties in the city. This hotel is very average and a bit below par for the Marriott chain. There are positives: the location is great, right in the middle of downtown, some of the amenities are nice such as the gym, shops and a Starbucks in the...

The people were so nice to us and they were so very helpful. They gave us a very quiet room that made our stay very worthwhile. The hotel is connected to the convention center, so you need not go outside. I love that it is the old Reading Railroad station (like in the Monopoly game!)! There are so many restaurants...
