My husband and I were here for the weekend in July. The hotel is very nice and typical of what we've come to expect from the Marriott brand. Rooms are modern, comfy, and clean. I found the lobby to be very hustle-bustle with people passing through. The guest room floors are quiet, though, so as soon as you leave the...

It's across the street from the Reading Terminal, so we went there for breakfast. Reception was really busy, so they were giving out lemonade! But then our room was very quiet, despite the crowds. The beds were firm and really comfortable. The only minus was that parking cost $45 a day. We saved $30 by parking two blocks away.

Great overnight stay at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown. Spacious lobby, check-in went great, however, we did ask for a particular location away from elevators and vending machines and were put right beside the elevator, told there were no more rooms in the hotel to be moved to. Conceige gave great suggestions for dining. Great location next to Reading Terminal, two...

We held a conference for 80 guests and this hotel delivered a sub par experience on all levels. From the valet service, to front desk check in to the event group management, there were issues on every front. The resolution management was poor and serious lack of professionalism. We will never host a meet at this property in the future.

I'm visiting Philadelphia for a training session at the HUD Field Office that is just a couple blocks away. The hotel is very quiet and you can get a great night's sleep when you combine it with the great bed. One of the most comfortable ones I've experienced. The hotel is clean and the rooms have all recently had renovations...

Despite being part of the historic train station (not in use nowadays) which had one of the most incredible Secessionist design, this hotel has a multitudinary and uncontrolled Lobby, always full of non guests and even bumps...Sometimes you don't know what for are you there and customer service is totallly non friendly. Breakfast is less than average when they charge...

We were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a very large room with two beds, a sofa bed, and a microwave and refrigerator. Don't be afraid of the "other tower", it was beautifully redone with enormous rooms, wide hallways and beautiful details outside the windows. The staff was excellent, very friendly and attentive. We would definitely recommend this hotel to...

My husband and I lived in Delaware but booked a one-night getaway in Philadelphia. We chose the downtown Marriott due to its convenient location in Center City. Valet parking at the hotel is $49, so we chose to park at the self-park garage attached to the Hilton Garden Inn a block away. This garage was only $34 per 24-hour period...

Very clean rooms, centrally located. Convenient to great sightseeing and historical areas. Can walk to the convention center and the liberty bell which is only three or four blocks away. Will use again.

Hey - it is a Marriott. Overall they do it right. The location in Philadelphia is fabulous - directly adjacent to the market - and walking distance to all of the sights - including Old Town Philly (1 mi walk). Parking is incredibly expensive at the hotel - park it yourself and save $20. You should add $50 to your...
