My recent stay at the Philadelphia Sofitel was delightful. Great service, beautiful accommodations with a perfectly central location. Staff was very service focused and made us all feel welcome. Highly recommended!

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 18 December 2016

The Sofitel is not inexpensive, but you do get what you paid for. They offered a gorgeous, comfortable room. I almost didn't want to leave the bed, since it felt so good! The location is also excellent, a short walk to the Marathon (which was why we were there - my husband ran it), as well as lots of restaurants,...

Took my wife for a weekend away without the kids to celebrate our anniversary. From the moment we pulled into the valet parking to the front desk, everything was perfect. We upgraded to a beautiful suite. Shortly afterward champagne and treats were delivered to our room, I didn't even remember mentioning that we were celebrating our anniversary. The bed was...

Our second stay at this hotel, and it's still as outstanding as two years ago. Special thanks for excellent service by: Eric (front desk) and especially Miguil (breakfast room) and Bubacar (valet). Another doorman (don't recall his name) gave us explicit instructions on how to take the bus to the Mint and even walked us to the bus stop. We...

This hotel was mediocre at best, and a far cry from what I would consider a luxury accommodation. I have stayed at several properties in Philadelphia, none of which are advertised as luxury, and the Sofitel did not even come close to matching the standards of those other hotels (the Marriott, for example, is far better and cheaper). The lobby...

Our second time here and we love everything about the hotel except that the mattress is too soft! Location is amazing, service is great, excellent breakfast, clean room, beautiful sheets. The mattress is too soft for us. Same thing last time we stayed there.

Beautiful hotel on the south edge of the city center and about 1 mile from historic Independence Hall area. I was there for a conference and the meals were fantastic as was the meeting rooms. The hotel rooms were quiet, had full room service from staff. The staff were exceptionally helpful with check in, baggage handling, and advice on dining.

We decided to splurge thinking this would be a really nice place to stay. The lobby is nice, the room disappointing. Instead of two Queen beds we thought we were getting, there were two small beds that looked like twins. The furniture was pitted and in places, the finish was worn. There was an old sixties style white vinyl chair...
