Always helpful for anything that is needed, yet not intrusive. Rooms are exceptional, older as built in 1909, but very well maintained. Check-in is super fast. The breakfast on business days is huge and amazing, weekends and holidays it is smaller yet still exceptional quality. The gym is high-quality and luxurious with great service.

We were here for a wedding. All employees are very friendly. The hotel is beautiful but not worth the high cost. The rooms are small, which is to be expected in an old building, but wasn't cleaned well. The vent in the bathroom had a THICK layer of dust and clearly hasn't been cleaned in awhile. Same for floor in...

One of the finest hotel experiences of my life. When I arrived at their parking garage and saw the NO GRATUITY sign, I sensed the start of a very different hotel experience. Check in went smoothly. The room on the fifth floor was exceptional. The bath contained one of the nicest stall showers I have ever seen in a hotel....

As the title suggests it is interesting. The facilities are excellent. The rooms are superb as was the fitness and business centre. The staff on levels 1&2 (the cafes, restaurants and business centre) are extremely helpful and courteous. The check in desk doesn't do the club justice but maybe that's how it's supposed to be? The concierge staff are great....

If you can manage to stay here (Membership needed), make it happen. This is a charming historical landmark with tons of personality, history and great service. Dinner at 1862 by Martin Hamann was superb. Quality and presentation were outstanding. The Museum on the lower levels was a history buff delight. Rooms were comfortable, with old school charm and modern amenities....

This is a very old building but with lots of old world charm. I was here for an annual meeting flying in from California. It is a private club but allows you to book rooms and then make other services available to you. You must wear a tie and jacket in the dinning rooms but being from an informal part...

My wife and I stayed at the Union League over Columbus weekend in 2015. The League boasts an impressive history, and has an even more impressive reputation as a private club. The Inn delivers on luxury and amenities. Breakfast is included with your stay, as well as a snack and coffee bar on the second floor. Our room was well...

I wavered about giving this only 2 stars... I'd split the difference and say 2.5. I am absolutely perplexed how people describe this as "luxury." Sure, the building/dining areas themselves are pretty cool because of the historical nature and really conservative old-school design/woodworking. But I regretted booking the hotel -- it was a conference hotel -- as soon as I...

My family and I stayed at the Union League for a family wedding. The accommodations were great, however it was the staff that made the stay memorable. The front desk clerk helped us with getting us a room that could hold five people, we originally thought it was only going to be my wife and I but our sitter fell...

My wife and I stayed here overnight after a friends birthday celebration. The room was very nice. There were 2 queen beds, a mini fridge, a personal coffee maker, and a 32" flat screen. The tv had only a few channels, but we weren't there for tv. The free wifi made finding destinations easy. The staff was very nice and...
