The Union League is an old money, blue blood club in the heart of downtown Philadelphia. I happened to be attending a meeting at the Union League, so it made logical sense to stay within the club at their Inn. A one minute walk from my room to the meeting venue downstairs was super convenient. The hotel room was large...

This is a lovely, older hotel with a great buffet breakfast. It is well located in the heart of Philadelphia. Unfortunately, during our recent stay, we had a room facing the street and a jazz club. In all of our years of traveling, it was the noisiest hotel ever. The noise from the club kept us up until nearly 2AM....

Amazing architecture, amazing history, amazing location, amazing staff, amazing restaurants, amazing wine list, amazing food, amazing cigar bar!!!! Need I say more? Seriously, they have a commercial kitchen, which you can view through a window on Sansom St. where they bake their own breads and breakfast buns! They even have a pastry chef. The rooms are commodious and well appointed....

Our room the night of June 28, 2014 was lovely and we were having a great time, with exceptional food and service, at a party in one of the Union League’s event rooms. About 9:30, on my way to the ladies room, I fell and was suddenly on the floor in extreme pain. A fellow guest, a wonderful ER doctor,...

Spotless accommodation with an extraordinarily comfortable bed. A bathroom that was enormous with just the right number of towels. Not at all ostentatious. I would definitely recommend staying here to all.

Here on business. The location is quite convenient for doing business in downtown Philadelphia. My room was spacious and clean. However, the room did need some updating - especially the carpet. If you are going to garage a car, be aware the parking garage is before the hotel on a one-way street. Easy to miss.

This room was perfect. The bed was big and plush and there were plenty of pillows - I didn't want to leave it in the morning. The room and bathroom were spotless and a terry cloth robe is available for use. Free bottled water in the mini-fridge and flat screen TV. Up to date furnishings and window treatments. I would...

My wife & I stayed at the Inn at The Union League for 4 nights while visiting Art Museums in Philadelphia. The Union League is a private club centrally located in Philadelphia. The rooms have an elegant decor and the building has an Old World feel. Our room had a coffee maker, iron & hair dryer for our use. The...

Every time I come into Philly this is where I stay. Cannot beat the location or the service. Food is unbelievable. 1/2 block to subway & if you're in town for a football weekend or any sports event it is 10 minutes by direct subway line to the Bank or the Linc. Short walk to Rittenhouse Square & all the...

We recently were back in Philadelphia for a large event at the Union League. The League itself is a most impressive structure and is chock-full history and elegant, old-world decor. Walking its spacious halls and rooms is, indeed, quite an experience that one shouldn’t miss if you have the chance. Attached to the League is its hotel, the Inn at...
