Beautiful, large home. Grounds and interior very nicely kept and sanitary. Was there for a course at IAHP just across the street so it was perfect to walk across every morning. Host and hostess were lovely as were the other guests I met in passing. Thank you for a great experience Yolanta and Roumald, Tina :)

The Silverstone B&B is in a beautiful pre-Civil War home with many of the original features. Our comfortable enormous room had 2 single beds and a ensuite bathroom. It was very quiet and we couldn't hear any noise from other guests or from the outside so we enjoyed a quiet night's sleep. The breakfast was generous and tasty. . The...

Our family of five visited the Silverstone B&B in May. The home was very comfortable and the morning breakfast very good. We are all enjoyed visiting with the owner, Romuald. His wife was away, visiting Poland (their homeland), so we never got to meet her. Romuald was very nice and pleasant to my kids. We loved the B&B and appreciated...

Three friends stayed at this inn while house hunting in Philadelphia. The owner was preparing to go out of town but ensured he greeted us and showed us around before departing. Our two adjoining rooms were comfortable and spacious. The furniture is a bit shop worn but the bedding and floors were clean and the furniture dust free. The large...

This is a very charming and well maintained older home in a beautiful setting in Chestnut Hill area. Rom was an excellent host with good suggestions and fun stories. He prepared for us a wonderful omelette made with fresh ingredients from his garden. We have recommended this B&B to others and would stay again.

My 11 year old daughter & I stayed one night for a nearby bridal shower the next day. Our room was beautiful, the beds comfortable, and the bathroom lovely! We had omelettes made to order by Rom for breakfast. Yolanta even found us hairspray and tissue paper - both of which I had forgotten in the hurry of packing. Such...

A pleasant trip back in time in this traditional building. Wonderfully welcoming and helpful hosts were willing to suggest ideas for our days in the surrounding area. A comfortable and accommodating place to stay for the whole family. We will definitely be back when our travels bring us to the area.

We stayed back in April '15 while my daughter recouperated after her operation. I found the owners very welcoming and accommodating. The house is very old and has beautiful original features, however, it hasn't been decorated or renovated in years. I found everything tired and a little too dirty for me, especially the little guest kitchen where you were able...

Dear elle9872, It was I who prepared your breakfasts and who was the first one in the kitchen setting tables and cutting fruit for your salad, but .... even I was doing my best cleaning my kitchen and cooking, I couldn't always clean guests' kitchen. My wife and I ask our guests to be responsible for "their" kitchen, but, unfortunately,...

I loved it!! The Silverstone is a beautiful 170 or 180 year old building, with all the creaks and noises befitting a haunted house, especially on Halloween. Our room, on the second floor was an over-sized Queen, with four windows, a fireplace, sofa, chairs and an enormous bathroom, with two windows. The furniture was Victorian and the artwork (most of...

  • The floor is actually hardwood painted over, and the walls brick, also painted over.
  • Only two pictures of the enormous bathroom. I should have taken more!!
  • The Suite was very large. They called it a 'room' but ....
