Stayed one night for business in December 2016. My room was spacious with a really cool design. The bed was very comfy. Uplifting with a hotel that is not plain beige and brown. The gym is fairly well equipped.

The room was clean and well appointed, and the staff was very friendly. But the best part of our two night stay was an extremely comfortable bed to collapse into at the end of our busy days. An added bonus was the incredible view of Independence Hall from our 9th floor room. The Red Owl bar off the lobby was...

I find myself in Philadelphia a couple of times a year and always try to stay at the Monaco. It's in the heart of the old city close to everything. The hotel is very clean and the staff extremely friendly. I highly recommend it.

Nice people working there. Rooms were well appointed but small. Quiet rooms are away from Chestnut St or on interior courtyard. Hotel is a converted office building. Restaurant in the hotel had a good breakfast.

I have stayed at quite a few Kimpton properties, mainly because I love the decor. I booked a room here for my birthday and a trip to one of my favorite places on earth, Jeweler's Row. When I travel, I need a bathtub. I am not a shower person. Its a quirk, but not one I have trouble being accommodated...

My wife and her sister took a trip there in December. I called concierge and asked for their help in sending them a dessert platter as a gift from me. Concierge was extremely attentive, giving suggestions on what to send as well as writing a personalized card for me. They were extremely friendly as well.

Literally, as soon as you show up at the front door, you know this is a very special place either just for the night or base camp. The location is amazing. 10 minute walk to Penn Landing; three to Independence Hall or the Liberty Bell. Very easy to get around and if you can't find what you need within a...

Rashid the Concierge is unbelievably gracious and helpful and understanding. It was my mother's birthday and she was staying at the hotel. I wanted to do something special for her since I couldn't be there myself. The front desk put me in touch with the concierge's desk and Rashid helped me figure out what to do and made it all...

Fun and friendly vibe, with dogs welcome and a daily happy hour! Really engaging staff who jump to help you. Great Old City location right near the Liberty Bell and National Constitution Center (my favorite museum in Philadelphia) with superb restaurants within walking distance. Rooms are comfortable and quiet, hip decor. Highly recommend!
