Last summer I had a horrible experience at another chain hotel in Philly, and part of me dredged this business trip. I had my first experience with a Kimpton property in DC last summer, and I am hooked. If you have never experience what Kimpton offers, you need to. The Hotel Monaco is in a section of Philly I have...

As other reviews have said, the hotel is very nice and clean (although some areas may need some updating) and is in the perfect location if you are wanting to go to Old City and see all of the historical areas. We went to a concert across the river in Camden and the hotel is well within walking distance of...

Daniel L - Thank you for the review and for taking the time to tell us about your stay. It is disappointing to me that we did not measure up to your stays at other Kimptons. Next time you are in town, let us go above and beyond and make it up to you!

This hotel is in a great location and close to all the attractions in Philadelphia, and spotlessly clean. However, considering how much I'd paid for my room here, I expected more. It all started at check in. After an eight hour flight from the UK we were disappointed to be given one of the very few rooms which overlooked an...

Great hotel right next to Independence Hall. A very short walk to the ferry going to BB&T Ampitheater. Very knowledgeable and nice staff. My first room overlooked a courtyard but with a quick phone call was moved to a higher floor with great view of Independence Hall.

We recently spent 1 night at the Monaco it was nice if not a little overpriced. The room was clean but small. The staff was friendly. Hard to valet as the streets are narrow. Rooftop bar was nice but no view of the city and it closed very early on a Tuesday.

Jessica H - I am happy to hear you had a nice stay! Unfortunately because we are located in the city, our rooms tend to be not as large as hotels outside of cities and being in a historic building there was some limitations we have with altering the building, which blocks the possible views we could have from Stratus....

I travel for a living and spend about 70% of my nights in hotels and this week I had the most amazing customer service experience I have ever had. I had made a request to Samantha that was working the front desk for a friend of mine that had a hard day at work. He wanted some blue cheese stuffed...

Stayed here for three days the first week of June 2016. I have to admit that I was disappointed. I have stayed at several Kimpton hotels before and am definitely a fan of the brand, but the hotel monaco was a let down. The front staff at check-in was having a lot of difficulty finding our reservation and checking us...

I enjoy hotel Monaco, matter of fact, I am in love with all Kimpton brands. My recent stay at Hotel Monaco didn't disappoint. I travel for work so appreciate smaller hotels with key access to floors, especially safe for a woman traveling alone. The hotel offers wine hour from 5-6 and has one of the coolest lounge/bars in the Philadelphia...

I was here with family during the week of the 2015 World Conference of Families, which coincided with the visit of Pope Francis. This hotel is in a perfect spot for walking distance to the historical landmarks (Independence hall, Christ church, first post office, Constitution center, etc.) Ask for a room with a "Parkview." It is also within a convenient...

Friendly and ample staff, beautifully appointed and decorated hotel, excellent pub restaurant on ground floor. I stay in quite a few hotels and would go out of my way to stay here again. Great location - one block from the Liberty Bell and other attractions.
