We took our three sons to Philly for a quick two night trip over December break. We were greeted by a valet who assisted us with getting our luggage and personal belongings out of the car. He was friendly and high fived our three sons, making conversation with them about sports and couldn't have been nicer. We were off to...

History just outside of your window. If I threw a rock I would've cracked the liberty bell. Independence hall was on our corner. Classy, fun, unstuffy hotel. Free wine event every evening. Beautiful people. Smiling staff. Rooms small but functional, very eclectic in their design. We'd return.

This was our second stay at the Hotel Monaco and it was just as good as the first! We'd been on 3 week trip in the US and had been excitedly waiting our return to the Hotel Monaco (2 years after our first stay) but with a slight concern that it might not be as good as we remembered. We...

I've been a Kimpton member for years because they have always gone out of their way to make a hotel stay exceptional. The crew at Hotel Monaco did exactly that for our November trip, the week of Thanksgiving. We had an amazing King Suite room that overlooked Independence Hall. Spacious, quiet, designed with style, incredible views -- very reasonable rate....

High style at Monaco is always fun. And it's clean and well located for Jefferson Hospitals and Center City. Just east of the park with the Liberty Bell, it's across from another small park where it's easy to take the do for a walk. Book a small suite for a little more room. Monaco is a great brand and we...

We just stayed at the Hotel Monaco for 3 days and absolutely loved it. From the minute you pull up to the hotel, the staff is welcoming and helpful. They were incredibly friendly with my 2 boys (ages 8 and 11). And even remembered the next day what they talked to the boys about (basketball and video games). The check...

Pros: • Colorful, artistic in room décor • Privileged location, steps from Liberty Bell • Kimpton perks – minibar and happy hour • Staff was on point Cons: • None The Hotel Monaco is a welcome departure from the traditional, conservative hotel footprints. Aiming to please the masses and establish a brand standard, the large hotel chains err on the...

Stayed here when it first opened and liked it. My second visit was a different story. The staff were not professional or helpful. The hotel -- common areas and guest rooms -- were not clean. Also, not an area you would want to walk around in at night. Overall, a disappointing experience. Will try the Palomar next time we're in...

How many times have you walked into a hotel room and noticed nothings? That's because "if you've seen one, you've seen them all". Not so here. The rooms are unique, nicely appointed and spacious. Wild wallpaper, fun colorful furniture. Next to the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall, it's perfectly located.
