I give this 5 stars based on location, cleanliness and the hostess! Marjorie rocks on most every level of being the perfect host. The location is perfect as there is are markets, shops, eateries and bars within an easy block walking distance. The neighborhood is full of friendly people who trust their surroundings day and night. What a wonderful concept.... More

Nice, clean, spacious room. We stayed in the main room on the first floor, even had a fireplace! Small refrigerator, mircowave and nice stand up shower. Marjorie was a great host, very polite and helpful. I would definitely stay here again. Great location too.

I had an absolutely wonderful time staying at this very special place. Marjorie was extremely accommodating, friendly and happy to help host! She upgraded my room with no cost, always made sure I had plenty of water in the fridge to cool down on hot Philadelphia days and her place was very unique and charming! The location of bed and... This b&b is very charming full of funky Chinoiserie artwork. Marjorie is a nice lady and the house is located in a VERY convenient location. There is a Whole Foods and another grocery store within two blocks. Our room (the upstairs room with two twin beds) had a small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker so it was easy for us... I had a great one-night stay here, and I would've gladly stayed longer if I could have. I stayed in the "master suite," which had all the comforts of home -- a nice bed, a clean and well-furnished room, a private bathroom, kitchenette -- in addition to a gas fireplace. The hostess, Marjorie, was a pleasure to meet and to... More

This B&B is in the Washington Square South area of Center City. Taxi cabs pass this location every few minutes. The rooms are large and the hostess is very attentive. Restaurants, bars , and bookstores are all within walking distance.

It is hard to find a room with two beds in a bed and breakfast, and I was traveling with my college-age daughter. It turned out to be a wonderful location in my favorite part of Philadelphia, with Whole Foods to buy food a block away. Marjorie got me a street parking pass, which worked beautifully. Be aware that Marjorie... More

During an academic research trip, I stayed here on and off for 3 weeks, and it was perfect. Fridge always stocked, room cleaned everyday, and because it was a longer stay, Marjorie even did my laundry! Excellent price for the room, given the location, which was 5-10 min walk from everything you need in Philadelphia. Will return in future.
