A charming bed and breakfast within walking distance to all the attractions. Very clean, the kitchen is open 24hrs, all kinds of snacks, drinks, breakfast foods, etc... The front porch is great to sit and relax after a day of sightseeing. A beautiful sitting room also. Barbara was very helpful and let us know of all the events and new...

My family stayed here for 2 nights in July 2014. It was very clean and comfortable. We had the family suite. It was two rooms connected by a bathroom in the middle. The snack room was wonderful! This B&B was in easy walking distance of many shops, museums, and restaurants in Gettysburg. I definitely recommend the B&B.

I was drawn to this inn by the front porch. I was able to book at room for the night at the last minute, as I had decided to spend the night in town. I was treated like a king, even given a tour of the inn and the other rooms. The rooms, kitchen and all of my "temporary home"...

My wife and I are very familiar with Gettysburg, but had never used a B&B before - we were so happy that our first experience was made such a pleasant and memorable one by Barbara and Steve Schultz at A Sentimental Journey. The "La Belle Epoque" room was quaint, quiet, and comfortable, and the entire weekend was a relaxing and...

Thank you so much for a great experience staying at our first B and B! We stayed in the beautiful dreamer which was great for couples as it had a spacious room and private entrance. Will recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay on their visit to Gettysburg! - Jenny and Kevin H

My son and I stayed here a few weeks ago in the "String of Pearls" room. This B&B is centrally located among most of the Gettysburg sites, allowing us to go exploring and return for a quick snack. The bathroom was a bit small in this room, but it came with several table areas, a small fridge, wireless Internet, and...

My husband and I stayed here this past week. We stayed in the World War I room which is a nice roomy room. The details of the time period are outstanding! The room looks out on the historical Rupp House next door-- and we were lucky to have a Confederate Encampment right outside our window over the weekend. The breakfast...

Located within walking distance to the Lincoln Square of Gettysburg , this B&B affords all the convenience of downtown without the noise & hustle & bustle. Deceiving from the outside, the rooms are absolutely charming in their ambiance & decor. The guest kitchen nook is as pleasing to the eye as the fare provided there. A comfortable living room is...

We stayed at A Sentimental Journey on our trip to Gettysburg with our one year old. We were given The Beautiful Dreamer room, which was perfect for us as a small family. There was a separate entrance, which made this easy to come and go and run out to our car when we needed to. It also had a small...

My husband and I were there for Mother's Day weekend I loved staying there. The room was very clean and I loved the little kitchen they have. Coffee was ready to be turned on when we got up. There were tons of snacks. It was very quiet. I got a wonderful night sleep. I will stay there again in a...
