Beautiful people; beautiful environment; beautiful breakfasts too! A wonderful place to stay while visiting Gettyburg. The owners have created a beautifully decorated, peaceful place to stay (3 suites) with breakfasts that are works of art! Convenient (but not too close!) to downtown Gettysburg, I easily walked to the square, leaving the car at home in the convenient off-street parking area.... More

I truly can't say enough how wonderful my experience was at the Raphael House inn. Alexandra and George are more then just "inn keepers." They embraced you like you were a part of their family. We felt so at home in their cozy, well thought out space. Every room is cozy and the decor makes your soul smile. Oh and... More

Alexandra and George open their home and make you feel like you are a member of their family. The room was very nicely decorated and the bed was extremely comfortable. The food was not only amazing but the presentation was beautiful. The conversation was riveting and the suggestions and information about things to do and see were endless. We will... More

Stayed here in August 2016. George and Alexander were great hosts, and their two dogs Heidi and "the little termite" (Olive) really made us feel at home. We are from England and were touring the USA and had booked to tour the Gettysburg battle site. The place is in a lovely part of town, just near the university, and a... More

Excellent B&B with very helpful proprietors. Well located. Excellent contacts for guided tours. Located slightly out of the centre of town, it is nevertheless easy to drive in to find places to eat. Approximately 10 minutes from Gettysburg visitors centre.

My wife and I were visiting Gettysburg with another mature couple over an extended weekend to visit the battlefield, etc. We wanted a small B&B with charm which was away from noisy tourist crowds, but not too far away. The Raphael Inn met our needs admirably. With just three guest rooms, the Raphael allowed plenty of personal attention from the... More
