This campground is definitely unique! It is a stones throw from the battle grounds and is an eclectic mixture of (at least seemingly) permanent residents, seasonal visitors, and short term campers. It is mostly RVs with a small field for tents and a few random tent sites mixed in with the RVs. We stayed in one of the tent sites...

If you are visiting Gettysburg , PA with your RV, this is a great campground to stay at. It is right in the heart of the Battlefield. Everything is close by and easy to get to. Their rates are more than fair and everything is well kept. Friendly staff and full hookup sites are roomy and comfortable. It is literally...

Very nice campground. Very close to Gettysburg visitor center and convenient to everything. Busy for holiday weekend, but remained nice. They had a living history demo for the anniversary of the Gettysburg battle. This was almost worth a visit by itself. Shady spots, good electric. Wifi iffy at times, but a lot of people using. Some seasonal sites. Highly recommend.

Right in the middle of the battlegrounds! Amazing location and amenities! We were there for the re-enactment weekend and the campground had "Living History" with civil war tents and people in costumes- fantastic! Very nice and quiet, family oriented place. Everything was clean and well cared for. Take the horseback tour while there!

Unruly kids running through our VERY TIGHT campsite. Fireworks being shot off on site, when it is CLEARLY STATED in the "Campground Guidelines" "9. Firearms, Fireworks, Firecrackers or explosives of any kind are forbidden on the campgrounds." When we called the Campground Security, we were told that it was the OWNER who was responsible, and they couldn't tell him to...

We stayed here over the Gettysburg Anniversary (re-enactment) weekend. The place was reasonably full but the sites are generously sized and we had plenty of space and privacy. Very close to the National Military Park - you can walk there easily via the horse trail. We also cycled to the re-enactment site about 2.5 miles away and that was nice...

Tour is amazing and very informative!!! We have been several times on the tours and stayed at the campground. It's an awesome experience, and you get to ride on a horse! It can't get any better than that! The camp is more of a rustic decor but that's the whole point of camping. Give up those electronics and home cooked...

We were thankful that this campground allowed a one night stay as we only wanted to take the camper out for a "test run" before the camping season. Luckily, we did because we found a water issue that needed corrected! The campsites were spacious and easy to locate. It was very peaceful at night and the horses were an added...

My husband and I stayed 3 nights in a campsite in a lovely wooded area. We had close neighbors, but I never felt we were too close as I have felt in other campgrounds. I only met the staff when I registered. The woman I dealt with was pleasant and friendly, but I had no need to see anyone in...
