My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights while celebrating our 40 wedding anniversary. The bed and breakfast is outside of town, down a mile-long private road, near a small stream. Very quiet. If the sky is clear, the stars are incredible. Dave and Bea made us feel comfortable, even sitting down for breakfast with us both days and...

We had originally planned to stay only one night, but decided to stay a second night after experiencing this wonderful place a short drive from Gettysburg. Bea and David are wonderful hosts and will welcome you as if you are family. We feel privileged to find a place like this off the beaten path. You will not regret a stay...

If you are traveling and need a bed for the night then why settle for something ordinary? Gettysburg is filled with historical places to see, but the Mary-Penn is something unique to experience! The home and the grounds are meticulously maintained and Bea takes care of every little detail to make you feel not only at home, but as if...

Spent 2 nights there & slept like a baby! Very comfy beds. Off of the beaten path, but well worth it! The owner, Bea, was very hospitable with her stories of her family, local legends & lore! Did I forget to mention hers breakfasts? The best at any B&B that I ever had! Bea makes you feel like your there...

Mary-Penn is the most inviting B&B I have visited. It has 200 years of history and period furnishings. The Inn keeper radiates hospitality. She whipped up the most awesome breakfast. Who doesn't like Blueberry French toast? After a day of sightseeing, we came home to a complementary wine and cheese plate. Kitchen refrigerator is well stocked with bottled water and...

This was the second time I stayed at the Mary-Penn and it was just as wonderful as the first! Beautiful, historic and tucked away from all the tourist areas of Gettysburg. Bea is absolutely wonderful and just so down earth and nice. Breakfast is all homemade and delicious! I will always stay at the Mary-Penn anytime I'm in town and...

My husband and I stayed at the Mary-Penn this past weekend on a brief trip to Gettysburg, and we fell in love with it. For starters, Bea and David, the owners of this lovely home, were welcoming, accommodating, and so pleasant to be around. Bea made sure to show us around upon our arrival and she wasn't kidding about wanting...

This historic B&B is set on a 900 acre farm literally on the Mason-Dixon Line. Our host was sooo attentive and our stay was so comfortable. The site is amazing-open fields with the B&B squat in the center Bea, the owner, is as friendly as friendly gets but not intrusive. She knows the area so well. She made a different...
