This was our third stay here in the past 5 years. This time we were in the Kentucky Suite in the Welty House, which is in the original 1830 section of the house. There are civil war bullet holes in the exterior wall. This room is lovely and comfortable; it has a bedroom and sitting area, both with electric fireplaces....

We stayed in the Tennessee room this past weekend, and it was wonderful. Tessa and Brian are so friendly, the staff is friendly and accomadating. The breakfast both days was awesome...who doesn't want dessert with breakfast?! It's close to town, shopping, and the battlefield. We bought the winter package and was blown away with the value. If you're a light...

We stayed for Veteran's day weekend. I am somewbuhat OCD when it comes to clean. I was very happy with the appearance and cleanliness of the inn. I would go back in a heartbeat and will. The breakfast was amazing. For us, we would actually prefer to eat alone and not with strangers. Feels different when it's for drinks or...

Thank you very much for taking the trouble to write such a generous review. We're glad you liked The Brickhouse Inn. We're sorry you felt awkward at breakfast; we do understand that sometimes guests prefer to sit by themselves. We would have gladly seated you on your own - in fact, we have a small table in one of the...

I stayed one night in the Virginia Room on the 3rd floor. The room is small, but has all the homey touches you look for in a B & B. The bathroom was clean and everything worked perfectly. Plenty of fluffy towels, toiletries and a hair dryer were provided. Enjoyed talking with other guests and with the inn owners, You...

We have stayed there twice. Second time very recently. This is a great B&B. The owners are around and care about you. The location is near the center of town and is very convenient for walking to many of the attractions. Would strongly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay here this past weekend. We found very gracious hosts/owners - Brian and Tessa, a nice, very comfortable room with Queen bed in the Texas Room, delicious three-course breakfasts, along with a very nice and friendly atmosphere throughout. We signed on for the offered Gettysburg Experience Package and upgraded to the three-hour private guide...

Well situated for walking to restaurants and local sites. One mile from Civil War park entrance. A few blocks to the Dobbin house restaurant...a must. Ample parking behind the Inn to include an overflow lot. Easy to access and all self park. No elevators but several first floor rooms. Breakfast at 8:15 and 9:15. Menu set each evening but will...
