First off we would like to say THANKS a MILLION to Tessa and Brian for their hospitality and truly making our stay enjoyable and relaxing. The Brickhouse Inn is without a doubt one of the best B&B's we have ever stayed at. The grounds outside are as beautiful and immaculately kept as in the inside. Surprisingly quiet considering the size... More

What a wonderful B&B. My wife and I make an annual trip here and will not stay anywhere else. The rooms are clean and comfortable, breakfast is outstanding, you will be full for the day. The staff goes out of their way to ensure your comfort. A true gem of the neighborhood.

Had a great stay at the Brickhouse Inn in Gettysburg. The rooms are beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. Tessa and Brian offer friendly and gracious hospitality to their guests. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious. We enjoyed having fresh coffee, cold water and iced tea, as well as freshly baked treats, available when we returned from sight seeing. Beautiful backyard garden... More

The Brickhouse Inn is the best choice if you are interested in staying at an inn in downtown Gettysburg. We began our trip with the goal of taking advantage of the Brickhouse's convenient location to walk to downtown restaurants and attractions. The NE Suite was a very nice room, with an outside porch with rockers. Brian and Tessa are excellent... More

Read a lot of reviews while searching for a place to stay in Gettysburg. After choosing the Brickhouse and completing a stay there, I can attest to the truthfulness of the positive reviews this place receives. It lives up to the hype. To borrow from the titles of others, "Charming and Most Enjoyable", "Beautiful House, Wonderful Hosts, Great Breakfast" pretty... More

The moment you step into the gardens, you know that someone is seeing to the details at the Brickhouse. All is in order, inside and out. There are actually two brick houses, one pre-war (Civil, of course) and one built just after. Both are beautiful houses and very well cared for. For my money, the older and smaller of the... More

We just returned from a most lovely visit to The Brickhouse Inn. We stayed in the Kentucky suite which included a balcony overlooking the serene relaxing patio where our breakfast was served. On the balcony of the Kentucky suite, the brick wall still retains evidence of the damage inflicted on the building during the Civil War. Speaking of breakfast, it... More

Thanks so much for writing a review - we really appreciate it! We're glad you enjoyed your visit, and the Kentucky Room. It is perhaps the best room in the Welty House, and certainly historic - as you saw. We're glad you enjoyed the breakfasts on the patio. Sadly it's been too cold the last few days, so you had... We certainly enjoyed our stay and would reccamend this bed and breakfast to our friends. We arrived right at 3pm and were welcomed by Janice who offered tips for things to do. She showed us our lovely room, The New England Suite and where to find snacks. Perfect for a family of 3! In the evening, my family enjoyed a... More

My husband and I had a lovely time at the Brickhouse Inn. The Inn and our room were filled with charm and embodied the history of the area. The owners thought of everything. The weather permitted us to have our 3 course breakfast in the beautiful and tranquil back garden and every dish was delicious. Each night we were also... More
