Wow! We really enjoyed our one night at Cimarron Rose in the Zuni Mountain Suite. It was too big for two people, but extremely comfortable. It was the last night of our trip, so it was nice to have plenty of place to spread out and re-pack all the souvenirs. It was not a bad drive from Grants; it only...

I can't say enough about the exquisite beauty of this place. Located halfway between El Morro National Monument and El Malpias National Park, the area is a great place to visit, and Cimarron Rose B&B is out of this world. The room was beautifully decorated in southwest style. The kitchen is huge, with a vintage stove. The owner left homemade...

Sheri certainly makes her guests most welcome in this unique, remote B&B. The kitchen is fully equipped, and if you don't find something, Sheri will be there to assist! Her gift shop Tierra Madre is chock full of beautiful Zuni artifacts at amazing prices. This place is a rare find - home away from home while you watch humming birds,...

Returning to Cimarron Rose was like coming home again. The beauty of the grounds, the wind whispering through the pines, the birds of all categories singing their special tunes, and last but not least Cimarron, Sheri's horse, as handsome as ever. What a special place, what special people, and what a special life they live, helping others as they take...

When I told my friend that we were going to stay in Grants, NM, her response was, "Grants, New Mexico, there's nothing there?" And after we left I 40 and began the 30 miles to our destination she became even more concerned. But her entire mood changed when she saw the beautiful country, of the Continental Divide and the sign...

We chose this B&B because we wanted to be close to the Bandera Ice Cave and El Morro. What a lucky find. Everything was so comfortable and so well appointed, and as other reviewers have noted, the breakfasts are really special. After requests for our preferences, ours included ciabatta, a wonderful asparagus and spinach omelet, and perfectly ripe and sweet...

Sheri is a wonderful hostess and goes above and beyond to ensure everyone who stays here has a lovely, relaxing time. Sheri will spoil you with her delicious, lovingly prepared breakfasts and her attention to the details in the suites. We enjoyed sitting outdoors in the late afternoon in the peaceful garden area, having a glass of wine and just...

One of the challenges of visiting Zuni Pueblo, especially during the Sha'lako dances, can be the restrictions on staying in the pueblo itself. Cimarron Rose is a great place anytime, but it is the best place to stay for these dances. Other times of the year, it is a beautiful retreat in it's own right, or as a base camp...

New Mexico is full of awesome attractions, but the Cimarron Rose would be a must-see destination in itself even if it weren't flanked by the El Morro and El Malpais National Monuments. Sherri the innkeeper has created an award-winning Garden of Eden and could not have been more welcoming and attentive. She took time to share her amazing knowledge and...

My husband and I are avid cyclists and enjoy hiking. Cimarron Rose is in the perfect location for both. The B&B lies on the "Ancient Way", New Mexico Route 53, which follows the old trade route between the Zuni and Acoma Pueblos. The out and back route from Grants to El Moro National Monument, over the continental divide is a...
