I was on a motorcycle trip when the area got hit with a lie season snow storm so I decided to overnight in Grants. I use TripAdvisor to find rates and ratings and I also checked the hotel's website. This place is supposed to have a lounge and restaurant, which is why I chose it. I don't want to put...

Although this is supposed to be a non-smoking facility, it took several room changes before we found one that did not smell like cigarettes. The front-desk clerk was very patient and accommodating, however. The carpets throughout the building were old, ugly and dirty, as were the walls. The doors and frames were chipped. There is no elevator in the building,...

In the main this struck us as an entirely routine roadside motor lodge, but I would really like to know who manufactured their pillows, so that they can be put out of business, or better, simply ejected into the wastes of outer space. They were absolutely the most uncomfortable pillows I have ever found on a bed in a nominally...

The first room we had was a sauna since the heater was broken. They moved it to other room. It was nice, comfortable, quite and clean. This is great place to stay to visit El-Malpais Park which only 30 minutes away. I would recommend to anyone in a small budget to stay here.

Stayed one night in hotel while traveling on business. First noticed how smelly and smoky the first floor was. Hotel desk clerk was not detailed as she gave me a room with the same door key as another room. Hence I walked in on someone. The room had a slow drain toilet. Complimentary breakfast was provided but was portioned controlled....

I booked this hotel knowing that Red Lion has great hotels and service. Shortly after booking, I read the reviews of this hotel which were not very pleasant, and I began to feel regretful. Shortly after arriving, I knew I had chosen a good hotel. The customer service was great, and so was the room. It was very clean and...

This older property still remains the best value within 100 miles. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. We've stayed here long before the property became a Red Lion Hotel. Over the last couple of years there seems to be less attention being paid to minor room maintenance, but the rooms remain very clean and enjoyable. Love their...

We spent a night at the Red Lion while exploring El Malpais National Monument and El Morro National Monument. Great choice! The ground floor room we had faced the interior (it was very quiet) and we had ample room for our dog, my husband's fat bike, and our overnight belongings. I appreciated having a refrigerator in the room, along with...

For $37 per night, I cannot complain about much. The exterior of the hotel looked very good. The beds were very comfortable with numerous high-quality pillows. The hot breakfast was beyond expectations for such a low price. There were 2 sinks, which for many would be a plus. It appears this facility is beginning the process of interior renovations, but...

After driving for 15 hours we found this dog friendly hotel right off the interstate. The room was spacious and clean. No exhaust fan in the bathroom so the whole room steamed up after a nice hot shower. Since we travel in December the price was very reasonable. I would stay here again.
