Just left this picture perfect B&B after a 2 night getaway with my husband. We came for a culinary getaway in the Hudson Valley and were not disappointed. We were immediately welcomed by our host and taken to the Treetop Suite, a truly spacious and clean suite with panoramic windows viewing the woods that make you feel suspended in a...

INNKEEPER’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

We spent two nights at Inn the Woods and highly recommend it as a quiet location with very comfy rooms close to the FDR Museum and Library, Eleanor Roosevelt's Val Kill, and, of course, the Culinary Institute. For the latter, be sure to make your reservation far in advance. Breakfast at Inn the Woods was a treat. Great food and...

My boyfriend and I loved our stay here. The tree top suite was clean, cozy, and spacious. Lovely full wall of windows looking into the woods, and the bathroom and kitchennette were stocked with all the items we needed. BREAKFAST WAS AMAZING..beautifully plated, locally sourced, homemade, and beyond delicious. (I'm super picky...so this meant a lot to us). Hosts were...

We stayed here two nights. Room very nice, clean & comfortable. Good location. Very friendly owner with plenty of area information. We couldn't ask for anything more. If we return to Hyde park we will stay here again. We also will recommend this b&b

I actually stayed here in August 2012, and my mother and I still talk about it. Hands down the best place we have ever stayed. I'm afraid I have forgotten the lady's name that owns the place, but we haven't forgotten how brilliant she was. Her cooking was fab, she was chatty without being too intrusive, she was knowledgeable about...

Love the fact you remembered us so well to take the time to share the highlights here. We try hard to make a stay memorable and your review proves it. Always glad when new friends travel "across the pond" to visit us. Valarie

Cliffside Room has everything needed. AC, TV with lots of channels, private bath and mini fridge with cold bottled water. Watch the variety of birds at the feeder. While enjoying delicious breakfast that equals the Culinary Institute of America. Short easy ride to CIA and sights in Hyde Park.

Secluded bed & breakfast with lovely innkeepers. Driving distance to the fabulous Culinary Institute of America and other historical sites. Comfortable accomodations and delicious breakfast: homemade muffin, scone, homemade butter, apple cider syrup for homemade waffle, summer fruit. What could be bad? And lovely informative conversation with innkeeper, Val. I'd go back for sure.

Valarie and Harry are such wonderful hosts, so welcoming. This was our second visit, just as enjoyable as our first. Cliffside room is very comfortable with everything you could possibly need.
