We enjoyed the 50s decor and appreciated the microwave and small frig. The rooms were small, and were a bit overpriced. The staff were very friendly. They didn't open until 7am, which was a bit late for those wanting coffee and an early start.
There are better hotels out there, but you won't find an affordable motel that's nicer or more fun than this one. And the owners are super-friendly. If you stay near the front of the motel, you will hear a lot of loud traffic, though.
