Mountain Trails Lodge is always great. Very simple cabins but extremely clean and comfortable. Quiet and close to Fort Davis and a 30 minute drive to either Alpine or Marfa. Sit outside at night and view the amazing sky. Give Mountain Trails Lodge a try you will not be disappointed.

Very impressed and loved this place. Very nice and quite location. Room was well cleaned, bed was comfortable, room was cooled down prior to our arrival, and had our basic necessities. Bathroom was small and it was actually nice not having a TV in the room. It was nice to sit on the porch and enjoy the beauty of nature....

Nice clean room, queen size bed, good linen, pillows, shower, small frig, couple of recliners, reading lights, NO TV, NO PHONE, I would pay extra for that. Comfortable for one or two people. Free internet if you must. Stay in units that look out at the mountains, glorious sunset, from small deck. Sunrise from the parking area. Quiet surroundings.Parking at...

Quieter than expected considering close to road. Didn't have neighbors on other side of duplex cabin so can't comment on that. All in all decent place to rest after active days hiking. Liked having fridge, coffepot, microwave and storage. Bathroom VERY small. Only sink in kitchenette area. If you like to sleep late don't get east facing room. Upon arrival...

Facility was clean, well cared for and easy! The bed was very comfortable which was an unexpected bonus. We only wish we had packed our camp chairs as the night sky was incredible, might have sat out all night. Our mistake was not stopping by the unit after checking in to turn on the air con. When we arrived after...

Wonderful place to stay - very little noise from the road and plenty of space in the room for one or two people. There is no bathtub, and as previous reviews have mentioned, the kitchen sink doubles as the bathroom sink, but if showers are okay, you're good to go. Wi-fi reception is excellent and not to be taken for...

We wanted to use Fort Davis as a "home base" for sightseeing in the area of Southwestern Texas. This lodge was the perfect choice. The rooms are small and somewhat spartan (no phone and no TV), but they had good Internet connectivity and the room was very much comfortable and suited to our needs. The staff was very friendly and...

We spent a week here and couldn't have been more pleased. Cabins are well maintained and very clean. The bathrooms are quite small but work well, and the sink is located out in the main room. Each cabin has a small fridge, micro and coffeemaker. This is a great place to relax. No phones or tv in cabin; but wifi works...

Surprisingly clean, with really comfortable beds and bedding. Sure enough the bathrooms are almost travel trailer sized, & the one sink is in the Kitchen, but the water is hot and plentiful and the kitchen works well (remember to bring your own utensils, pots, pans, etc.). Quiet. STARRY nights! Little light pollution (please leave your porch light OFF, the boogie...
