Currently staying here, and while the property is very modern and clean, I can hear my neighbor watching television. Not some bass noise, but you can hear exactly what they are watching. The ear plugs that greet you on your nightstand is something that can be used at night, but I

When you stay in downtown Baltimore there's always a little nervousness, but not when within the walls of this hotel. I found parking right across the street from the hotel on a Saturday afternoon so I didn't have to valet. Check-in was easy. We have Marriott status so we got

I had a room reserved for this hotel on 11/17/2018, which I had booked months prior. Directly before my trip, my father went on life support and was fighting for his life. My family had cancelled all of our plans for the remainder of the year, and were sure that we had cancelled

Dear Matt B, Please accept our apologies for any confusion. The hotel was told twice that you were canceling due to a change of plans. It was not until the third call that we were informed of your personal situation. We contacted you yesterday and left you a message, but had not heard back from you yet to tell you that we have reversed the charges and you should see that reflected in the next 5-10 business days. We fully understand the severity of the issue and would completely have reversed the charge if we were properly informed upon the first call. Unfortunately Marriott cancellation policy does not waiver for change of plans, but of course under these circumstances we are able to waive the charges. Again, we are very sorry for the added stress during this difficult time. Our entire team wishes you and your family peace during this time. Sincerely, Angela Wedemeyer General Manager

We checked in late and went to our room. Got unpacked and went to take a shower and there was hair all over the bathroom floor. Really gross so we decided not to stay for the 2nd night. The staff was very apologetic and allowed us to check out early

Loved the hotel and the staff was very nice and accommodating. My toilet didn't work when I got to my room and upon notifying staff it was fixed within 30 minutes. The rooms were very clean and I really liked that the TVs in the rooms had netflix. I was not a fan of the location

Are there in-room safes? Refrigerator? Is the surrounding area safe? I will be walking to/from the convention center and a few events will end late?
I was here not to long ago. I went to an event at the Royal Farms Arena at night which is a few blocks away. I walked by myself and it didn't seem crazy around there to me. I believe my room had a fridge as I got late night food but I was in a suite. Lombard St and Charles St I would consider safe as they have a lot of commerce as this is a downtown inner harbor location. I'd say 2 - 3 blocks in either direction should be fine as that is radius of the convention center and the royal farms arena. hope that helps.

Is there onsite parking? How expensive is the parking? Is there alternative parking nearby?
Thank you for your question. Valet parking on property is available at a rate of $40 per night. There are parking garages on Light and Charles Street that run approximately $20-25 per night with no in and out privileges.

When we stayed, we used SpotHero to reserve a space in the parking lot at 30 Light St. When you park in a SpotHero parking space you are not allowed in/out privileges. That worked for us, because we Ubered or walked wherever we wanted to go. I went this way because the cost of valet parking and tipping was going to be higher than a reserved SpotHero space and UBER.

Looking to head down in September, what was average price from breakfast at Poe's? Couldn't find a menu online. Also how close is this property to the Renaissance Hotel?
Do NOT eat breakfast at the hotel... it was a microwave warmed breakfast sandwich and an orange juice for $15. Starbucks is a short walk.
