I recently made a quickie overnight trip to Baltimore & decided to stay at Hotel Monaco based on having previously stayed at a Kimpton property in Cleveland. Public transportation from BWI to downtown Baltimore is a breeze on the light rail system & only cost $1.70! Two or three block walk from the light rail stop to the hotel. I...

The Hotel is elegant and comfy. The people kind and helpful. The building was fantastic with Tiffany stained glass and explanations of the history of the building every where to understand the history.

We stayed one night to soend time at the inner harbor. First the hotel: checkin was super fast and valet was nice. Wine hour was nice and room was beautiful and clean. Area outside is a little sketchy after hours.

It seems some historic hotels rest on their previous laurels and do not put the resources into maintaining the property. This is not the case with this hotel. The hotel is classy, nicely decorated. When my family stayed there the hotel offered a wine tasting that was a nice touch. The rooms are decorated well. Maybe a tad noisy given...

I am glad we were able to stand out from the pack in regards to maintaining our property for you. Our nightly wine hour is probably our number one amenity. We agree... the noise is a bothersome sometimes. We are doing our best to keep it out.

If I based our stay on our "welcome" it would have one star. We arrived around noon and was checked in by Michael Prince. He spent the entire time hunched over leaning on his elbows speaking to a computer screen making it hard to hear him at all...for what he did actually say. My family of 4 (2 kids ages...

We stayed at the Kimpton for one night. From the moment valet took our vehicle with a smile, our stay was perfect!!! ALL staff - so friendly, professional and accommodating! The hotel and our room (a standard one) were amazing!!! We loved the high ceilings in our room and the bathroom is awesome! The entire hotel is beautiful! Easy walking...

My stay at the Hotel Monaco in Baltimore was for a three day business conference. The hotel is beautiful in every way. The rooms were impressive. The bed was very comfortable. The fitness room was great. The staff were friendly & helpful. And the food was standard fare. But I can only give three stars because the street noise is...

We recently spent a couple of days in Baltimore with the family (kids 11 and 8 yo) and we continue to be big fans of Kimpton Hotels. The Kimpton Monaco is about 2 blocks away from the inner harbor located in a historic building which apparently used to house the B&O railroad. Walkable to both the inner harbor attractions and...

Great service, lovely room, nice restaurant Though close to the Harbor, it would have been perfect if it was on the strip/road across from the harbor. It kind of reminds be off a diamond in the rough. Beautiful hotel, but once you come outside, especially at night, you must be careful.

We like to think we are close to much of what Baltimore has to offer. That is not good that you did not feel safe when you went outside. Please know we are in the process of working with the city to make sure everyone has an excellent experience.
