My business partner and I needed the closest hotel to The Charles Theater for the 48 Hour Film Project we attended with a lot of camera rig gear. The Brexton came up so we gave it a shot June 12th thru 14th 2012. Beautiful historic building with a complete renovation making it look brand new inside. We were met at...

Our very small room with a {comfortable} queen sized bed, a one sink bathroom, a little shower {no tub}, a broken chair, a cheezy old desk with bubbled finish, an air conditioner that never stopped gurgling- this is not a room shown on the Brexton website. Is internet access that costs $10 an amenity? Parking is free if you grab...

Different strokes for different folks... Love the hotel! The management and staff are nice and professional. As with all things someone's not gonna like something about it. You can't please everybody. That's life... Keep it movin'...

The outside of the building is beautiful - it is a very interesting old brick building. The rooms are in an odd configuration and somewhat cramped. The location isn't very good. It's not in a nice neighborhood and quite a walk from the inner harbor. We had a Living Social deal which the manager, Paul Masai, did not want to...

Thank you for staying with us and am sorry that you found me to be a bad manager just because I was not able to confirm a room for the weekend under the package due to the fact that I was sold out. I wish we were in a position to confirm each and every person under the package for...

We stayed at Hotel Brexton May 24 to May 27, 2012 and found our stay to be a wonderful experience thanks to the staff. The front desk staff Esther was helpful, pleasant and informative. The taxi driver for the Hotel who's name is Innocent was exceptionally helpful showing us the area and telling us some of the history of the...

If you want a place near U of Baltimore (midtown), this is a great choice! The neighborhood around it is "in transition"; but the hotel is very nice, great staff, interesting rooms. Continental breakfast is "just OK."

I stayed at the Brexton for a family reunion and graduation, so my first screen for the hotel was its location---near the University of Baltimore, Penn Station, Symphony Hall, the Mount Vernon neighborhood, and the free circulator bus. This is a safe neighborhood, although Baltimore does tend to change from block to block. Two blocks away, there's a couple of...

The wife and I went to Baltimore on vacation and ended up staying here at the Brexton. As far as location, it's within the Mount Vernon historic district, and a close walk to some of the nice places within the area. Some folks might think it's in a sketchy locale. I thought it was fine, granted, I'd be a little...

We loved the restoration of this beautiful building! The staff was very nice and helpful. Rooms were clean and bed very comfortable. Furniture itself was of lower quality than I expected, but overall acceptable. Shower pressure not so great, but what a beautiful bathroom! The area is a little seedy, but we walked around Saturday night with no trouble. We...
