As a frequent traveler to Baltimore, my first choice in hotel accommodations is the Rodeway Inn. Its’ convenient downtown location at 723 St. Paul Street puts me within an easy commute of many of Baltimore’s finest attractions. The economical room price is a big plus and the friendly and helpful staff always makes my stays pleasant.

The good: no bedbugs; seemed clean. The bad: No outlet in the bathroom for shaving, curling iron, hair dryer (maybe because there's no hair dryer?). Hole - approximately 5 inches in diameter - in the floor, a tripping hazard covered by carpeting. No queen or king beds - all standard full-size. Parking 2 blocks away (not recommended for nighttime walking...

The hotel was beautiful and very clean, the staff was excellent and were a pleasure to deal with. Very nice neighborhood everything was within walking distance. There is also free bus service to downtown which is great!! Inter harbor is a quick ten minute walk and is easy to get to. Over all I enjoyed my stay and will definatly...

I visit Baltimore five or six times a year and always stay at this hotel. It is in the Mount Vernon area of Baltimore near a music school. It is in a safe area and is near a rail stop. It is also walking distance to downtown and the harbor. It is much cheaper than comparable hotels in the downtown...

I dont' usually write bad reviews, but I cannot understand the good ones for this hotel, unless the hosts got the "new rooms" announced. We were given a very old room in the "basement" (although it had windows and view of the street). No place to eat the breakfast, moreover, and the room was clean but a bit scary.

Wanted a decent place close to the baseball game. Couldn't beat the price, or the free bus for downtown across the street. Room was clean and COOL (record heat that day), and the staff was quite helpful. Sadly, no parking - but managed to get a place on the street nearby. Some street noise, too, but nothing to ruin the...

The rooms are bigger than expected, but the bathroom was definitely in need of some TLC. I was on the first floor, so I especially heard a lot of street noise, which disrupted my sleep. However, the beds were comfortable and free wifi and breakfast were available. I asked if I could leave my bag for a few hours after...

This hotel is a deal if you are not a princess or travelling with one. It's situated on the free bus line which will whisk you to Baltimore's quaint harbour front in 10 minutes (note: when the bus was full, the driver did not accept additional passengers, but you can walk there in 15-20 minutes. The room we had on...

We were going down to baltimore to spend some time in the inner harbor, go to the orioles game, then go to the aquarium sunday morning before returning home. When checking into the hotel it seemed nice and we got our room, 117. When walking on the first few floors the air was on and very pleasant, but as we...

PRO: staff is eager to please. convenient location, especially since free PURPLE bus line stops almost right at the hotel. CON: no elevator street noise no hotel parking (but I managed to find a place on the street where I could park for free until 9 a.m.) Stayed in cheapest room type; these are located up 3 long flights of...
