I recently stayed at the Renaissance at the Baltimore Harbor for a professional conference. First the good news. The staff is very friendly and pleasant. I was upgraded to a harbor view room because my husband is a Marriott gold card member. The view was lovely and I also had access to the club house, which was very nice. The... More

Thank you for choosing the Renaissance Harborplace and for taking the time to review your stay on Trip Advisor. I am happy to hear you enjoyed the hotel and the upgrade to one of our beautiful harborview rooms. My apologies for the lack of services to your room. This is certainly unusual and we are reviewing with our team as... More

I attended a conference at this hotel as well as a 3 night stay. I was very pleased with all the services and the location. A mall called the gallery is practically located inside the hotel. This is most defiantly an added bonus for a shopaholic like myself! The harbor is directly across the street and many people are out... More

Room was spacious, conveniently located, and staff was more than helpful. The connected mall was a big lifesaver. Pool was nice, just lots of kids. In fairness, we were there the weekend of Easter, so, we knew what we were in for with the kids. Only gave 4 stars because of the price of parking, and no loading area for... More

My family and I were staying here for a convention at the Baltimore Convention Center. BCC was about 2-3 blocks away, 6-7 minute walk. The hotel is located directly across from the Inner Harbor. Cheesecake Factory, UNOs, and number of restaurants are right across the street. The hotel is also attached to a mall called The Gallery. The rooms we... More

I've been a Platinum Member for many years...and do quite a bit of traveling. It has seemed to me that lately this status has meant less and less in terms of how I'm treated. Upgrades seem to be harder to come by, welcome gifts are not as generous, and staff many times don't recognize that we frequent travelers are important... More

My husband and I stayed at the Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace hotel twice, with our 6-year-old grandson - once in 2013 and once in 2014. We enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel is at an excellent location. Next to the harbor and close to everything - restaurants, the aquarium, other amusement places, etc. etc. The room we stayed at had... More

The hotel is in a great location right downtown and near the inner harbor. Our room was clean and we had enough room for the 2 of us. The hotel has plenty of amenities. The service was friendly and helpful. It was reasonably priced.

My wife and I stayed here mid May 2014. It's a very nice and well appointed hotel. It's greatest positive is it's location and some of the rooms views of the Inner Harbor. We didn't have an issue with noise at all, but that could be we were on a high enough floor and no rowdy neighbors. We didn't eat... More

I've always liked the Renaissance hotels within the Marriott portfolio. Across the board the Renaissance hotels pretty much "get it" as to what kind of value a traveler wants. Granted my Marriott Platinum status allow me to experience a higher level of service throughout the hotel (access to concierge lounge, etc), but whether I was getting the higher level of... More
