Stopped for lunch on our spring journey. The fish sandwich was one of the better fish sandwiches my husband has had in a long time, good in all respects. My Pittsburgh salad (skipped the fries ) included mixed greens, vegetables, a very moist grilled chicken breast and good balsamic dressing. Great craft beer selection and enjoyed eating in their pub...

This "B&B" is within 20-30 minutes of the Falling Waters house (by Frank Lloyd Wright), the primary reason I wanted to stay in the immediate region. While there were a couple of larger hotels in the region, I usually enjoy the ambience of a B&B setting if within a similar price range. The first time I stayed at Stone House...

We were looking for an inexpensive place to stay for 1 night near Fallingwater and Fort Necessity, and Stone House fit the bill. They contacted us to advise us that the restaurant would be closed when we arrived and therefore no one would be there to receive us, but they gave us instructions on how to get in and obtain...

Our room left much to be desired!! From the armoir door that was broken off of the hinges, (masked by being simply hung in place), my husband was very nearly seriously injured!! The door lock that was falling off, to the world's absolute thinnest toilet paper, EVER, not to mention, absolutely zero storage, no hanging hooks or shelving in the...

My wife & I with another couple stopped here on the way home from the casino for a bite to eat. If you like ribs, you gotta try these. They were the best I ever had. Smoked just right, tender fall off the bone, meaty, no gristle, excellent sauce. All 4 of us had them & all agreed they were...

The country in was okay. There was no one there to check us in. In fact we didn't see anyone that worked there until the day we checked out - two days after check in. I had a room at the front of the house and heard traffic most of the night. They did have a fan that I turned...

Stopped in for lunch while on a road trip. We ordered the Burgers. Can not recall the name but had thick slice of honey baked ham, bacon and fried egg. AMAZING! No condiments such as ketchup were necessary!

My girlfriend and I decided to get away for two nights to explore Ohiopyle and the mountains of the Laurel Highlands. We needed something relatively cheap, yet appeared to be a bit of an escape. Our room was very reasonable for $75/night, and we appreciated the staff allowing us to book and arrive very last minute. We reserved a room...

As a Restaurateur with over 29 years in the Hospitality Industry, I can say, this stay did not even meet my expectations. My Husband and I booked a room at the Inn after much research. The original Inn is charming. Although, we stayed in the new wing. So I will review the room FIRST. The room was much smaller than...

Booked a couple of nights on the recommendation of the Fallingwater web site. To say we were disappointed is an understatement. Firstly when you book in you are asked to pay the balance of you bill odd until you understand nobody is in the hotel to book you out in the morning. Secondly I was advised breakfast was continental when...
