This was by far the best vacation we have had in years. This hotel lived up to our expectations. Check in was a breeze and very helpful. valet was top notch. Brandon and Shawanda made everything easy and perfect when it came to getting our car. They are the BEST! We are definitely coming back again.
The most pleasant and friendly employees at this beautiful hotel! Many dining and entertainment options, excellent accommodations. We loved the geodes and the design of the hotel, and fact that it wasn’t what you typically expect from Savannah but that it embodied a different take on the history of the city.
Great Hotel! My family and I loved the rooms, entertainment, and food at the hotel. Perfectly located on River St, easy to walk to all the parks and attractions. Our room was large and comfortable, and the staff was very friendly.
The hotel is very well located on the river walking distance to the historic districts. The rooms are generous and the staff is friendly. The best part of the hotel service is the most excellent concierge, CHRIS EDSCORN who is so knowledgeable and helpful. We had only a short time to visit the city and Chris gave us a plan which allowed us to see everything we wanted very efficiently. He also provided much appreciated discounts to the attractions. Our next visit will be longer and our first stop will be Chris' desk to have him plan out our stay. Thank you, Marriott for employing such a great professional who treats a wonderful impression of the hotel.
My sisters and I went to Savannah to celebrate - a birthday. We had an amazing time! The hotel was one of the best I’ve ever stayed in! Beautiful lobby and delicious restaurants. The staff at the hotel were all very friendly and helpful. Our room was a two story loft with views of the River. Amazing!! Thank you for making this an extra special trip for us! I highly recommend this hotel! It’s beautiful and in a perfect location.
Everyone and everything at this hotel is top notch. Valet staff member, Milo is an absolute gem and deserves nothing but good things in life. He went above and beyond to make my husband and I comfortable in an unfortunate situation on St. Patrick’s day. Praise be, Milo! The real saint of St. Patrick’s Day.
Ms Renee Washington was awesome!! She made our travel a breeze ..I Absolutely loved her customer service . Renee was well very knowledgeable of the hotel , she spoke on things that I have never heard or experienced…. Love love her …
Outstanding all the way around! Staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming - in other words, hospitable. The Bao Bab bar is so much fun. All the geodes and crystals throughout the hotel are beautiful. The fact that it was built inside an old power plant, much of which you can still see, makes the hotel unique and interesting. The views of the river with the passing tugs and ships are spectacular. The bed was super comfortable. Brandon and the valet team were awesome. A+ all the way around!
Lovely hotel with many food and bar options. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Shawanda was amazing and we looked forward to seeing her everyday. Our car was always ready waiting for us. Shawanda was the perfect employee.
This hotel is beautiful and in a great location. It has a lot going on, too much in my opinion. Every tourist comes here to see the lobby and the bars outside. It was crowded with non hotel guests taking pictures and sitting in the lobby all day. Then there’s the rooftop bar. The loud booming music didn’t stop until almost 2am! My room was shaking. We couldn’t sleep. The front desk offered no solution. They told me there wasn’t anything they could do. Then at 830am the next morning housekeeping was knocking on my door to see when I was checking out! No sleep all night and then I was woken up!! We waited over 90 minutes for valet to find our car and luggage the next morning. They lost other guests keys, no one knew what was going on! When I gave a horrible survey I received a generic apology from Juanita Vasquez in the front office. I emailed her back and still have not heard from anyone. I have gold elite status with Marriott and expected someone to get back to me. I wasted points on this hotel and will not go back.…
