Our room was clean and very comfortable. don't believe hotel is run very well. The bar and food was not that good. employees work hard but not very efficient. parking expensive but convenient. interesting that people staying there, half wore masks and other half didn't (depending on where they were coming from).

Hotel's Favourite
We have been to Savannah many times before and we have decided to stay a few blocks away from the main historical sites lately as it can get pretty rowdy and noisy at night time. This place is just off MLK and about half mile from the market street. The hotel is clean and the rooms are pretty big for a city hotel. Free breakfast is a plus as you do not have to look around for a place early in the morning. We had to pay $28.00 for parking each night.

Hotel was not up to standard. Hotel lobby is nice. Inside room it looked okay but sofa was stained and old. A towel was dirty. Also hard chair, leather part was stained. Parking lot stairwell was being used a a bathroom by homeless. They had there clothes in bags there. Also there was a person squatting using bathroom.

Poor cleanliness, amenities not working and customer service, when reported about amenities not working no action was taken. I am a Diamond customer and didn’t feel like one for the first time, it didn’t even meet the standards for someone who is not an HHonors member.

Everything about this hotel is suspect. When you first walk in, it looks good but everything seems to be on its last legs. It's all slightly broken. The power has been going out, the wifi sometimes works sometimes doesn't, the bathtub shower rod is installed incorrectly (too high, too far out) making it difficult not to flood the bathroom (we've had to set up a towel dam to keep the floor dry), the shower curtain itself is not in good shape and the tub creaks and moves slightly when you're standing in it making you think you might fall through the floor (I'm 6'2", 215 lbs, I'm not small but not large enough to damage a tub), the elevator shimmies and shakes making you think you might get stuck between floors, the famous embassy suites breakfast is not to be found (25 minute wait for an omelet today, the other 3 days we've been here the omelet station has been closed). Even the luggage trolley is a wobbly mess you think might break down mid trip. I tend not to notice stuff like this, generally all i need is a clean room. But I've been here a couple of days and you can't help but notice how poor this hotel is because something is always popping up, pointing out how shabby it's becoming. Add to this that the Hilton frequent guest program just stinks really is just the cherry on top. I travel a lot on business (covid notwithstanding) and have always liked staying at embassy suites with my family when traveling personally, because of the amenities and quality. This trip is with my family and this embassy suites has been a huge disappointment. From uncomfortable sofa beds to worn out carpets, a disappointment The staff has been great and the location is great for exploring savannah but i would not recommend this hotel unless you were out of options.
