Fantastic stay in a great location. Room was sumptuous but you’d need to be very comfortable with your partner as the bathroom was only separated from the bedroom with a curtain. That said, the main feature of the room as an enormous free standing bath made for sharing..... We stayed three nights and I’d have cheerfully stayed much longer. Situated on Forsyth Park as the name suggests, the area boasts beautiful architecture, walks and a short distance from the centre of town and the river. The hotel also boasts a very nice cocktail lounge but the single bar person/server couldn’t keep up with demand on the two nights we tried to get a drink. Also, a personal bugbear, all parking was valet which I loath as its an unsubtle way of parting the guest from cash. That aside, I would highly recommend this hotel.
It doesn't get much better than this eclectic property located right across the street from one of the best parks in the U.S. the room was wonderful and the location is within walking distance from great restaurants and beautiful savannah neighborhoods. Highly recommended.
Hotel is nice with interesting art work. Location is good, off the main district but within a moderate walk.
Staff is OK but not what I normally experience from Marriott. Got in late and asked for close by local place to eat and directed to hotel pub. $18 gormet burger that was cold and sweet potato fries out of the freezer and still cold. Bar staff was good though.
We were here during a marathon so had to valet park as most streets were blocked off and they said we were on our own for self park without and guidance. $40 per day seems steep outside a big city.
I have over 1000 nights in Marriott's and rarely complain and this is the first time I have on TA.

The hotel is clean, comfortable, and decorated in a fancy baroque style. If you like that sort of thing, this is the place to stay. It is owned by Marriott, although you won't see any Marriott advertising. They acknowledge Marriott Gold Members but we didn't receive the usual perks, like the executive lounge. Not a bit deal, but they didn't give us the option and we didn't know until we arrived. We asked about it and the reply was "not at that rate." (We didn't set the rate, they did.) The folks at the door were friendly and helpful. The bartenders were friendly and accommodating. The people at the front desk came across snobby and I didn't like that at all. Every time we asked them for something, they clearly had something else more important to do. They said they had a bar in the restaurant but wouldn't tell us how to get there, which isn't as obvious as it sounds. (You have to leave one building and use your key card to enter another building, go up the staircase to find the bar.) We asked for an extended checkout so we could attend Mass in the morning then come back to check out and she was not able to give us a straight answer, finally compromising by saying we needed to check out my 12, which was fine. They were just off-putting. Not mean, just not as helpful as we would have liked. Housekeeping will make your bed and leave clean towels but will not remove dirty dishes. We had two dirty glasses from a nightcap on the desk for 2 days. Also, the bottle of water in the room was $5. I drank that but went to Kroger the next day to buy my own water. Drained a few of those bottles but all empties were left in the room until we checked out. Housekeeping could have done better. Lastly, just an FYI, parking is $29 per day. Would I stay again?..... Maybe. But really Savannah has so many lovely places to stay I might forgo the attitude and stay at another place.
A wonderful Luxury Hotel... Beautifully furnished and updated. Great bathroom and furnishings... Sheer enjoyment and the atmosphere beyond anybody expectation. We were on the club level and that could be addressed - with upgrading the breakfast and offering evening wine...The Forsyth Park, one of the largest parks, is across the street. We opted for room service and the food was good and came on a tray instead of a rolling table. Shuttle to their sister Hotel by the river front. (Be sure to go to the roof top bar at the sister Hotel)... We would highly recommend staying at "Mansion on Forsyth Park"

I do not believe there is parking on the street. I did not have a vehicle, but I know that buses/taxis are unable to stop in front of the hotel and there's no parking on the street in front. There may be some on the side streets and/or perhaps in a garage, but not in front of the hotel. They do offer valet at $29/day.
