A really great value! The whole hotel is super-cute, everyone is really nice, and all the little snacks you get are just extra perks. The rooms are pretty basic and there were the usual minor issues (room key didn't work a few times, water pressure wasn't great, had trouble connecting to the wifi,) but considering the rates, the friendly staff,...

The Thunderbird Inn offered me and my boyfriend a cheaper alternative when picking out a place to stay in Savannah. The rooms were great, really clean and fun. The only issue we had was the noise coming off the street at night but we brought earplugs which helped!

Pet friendly was our #1 priority and the Thunderbird Inn was very accommodating! We loved the new/retro decor and the very comfortable bed. We noted a minor amount of noise from neighboring rooms, but it was at a retro acceptable level. The employee's were pleasant and helpful. Thanks to it's location we ended up visiting the dog friendly Georgia State...

I was pleasantly surprised with our stay at the Thunderbird Inn. I had realistic expectations because it was the only place we could afford. Although it is nothing fancy, the place is very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The wifi was somewhat iffy especially during peak usage times. The towels could use some updating also but overall we...

Thunderbird Motel was a super cute motel in Savannah. Fun decor, good location. The walls are paper thin sobif your a light sleeper bring earplugs. Otherwise you will be up all night due to traffic or noises from guests in adjoining rooms.

Convenient location , clean rooms, enjoyed the moon pies and RC Cola Nice touch of nostalgia! All the help we encountered was very friendly and helpful We found the parking spaces a little too narrow for our car with 2 doors but it seemed all guests were careful with their car doors and we did not get any nicks or...

We stayed at the Thunderbird while we were in Savannah the beginning of Feb/17. It is a great hotel with cool retro décor, very clean and comfortable with awesome staff! Will definitely go back if we get back there and have recommended it to all our friends! The location was perfect and the price was the best!

We have stayed at the Thunderbird multiple times with and without our puppy. We love the atmosphere and the great location on the edge of town. It is so easy to get to from the highway. Then it is a short walk away from the historic streets and squares of Savannah.

Yes, it's retro and they do have moon pies and RC colas waiting, and if that's what makes you happy, this might be a good place for you. The rooms are large enough, but the bathrooms are extremely small. Water pressure was low. Since it is an older hotel, you can expect to forego some of the perks of newer...
