This hotel is very close to the City Market. Yes, at night it was noisy - the trash pickup, the construction, the bar partons etc but for the price and the location it was worth it PLUS they gave us ear plugs and a sound machine in the room. LOL The front desk staff was helpful and pleasant. The concierge...

Lucky to find such good location for attending this year's Sav Music Festival. When saw ear plugs in room first thought was made bad choice but though did use noise machine we would have been fine without it. Breakfast choices are abundant and very good. Staff was professional and helpful with maps and directions. Easy hotel to find and plenty...

First THEY CHARGE FOR PARKING ! Which is not listed on the web page. Two large construction projects on the river side which is out of their control but if your room is on that side don't plan on sleeping past 7:30. Also making it hard to park for that charged parking spot. With a crane overhead no less!! Do...

Don't know how to start this except to say that check in was a nightmare. The room wasn't correct (booked a king six months back - changed to a queen room without notification). When it was corrected, opened the door to the room only to find that they allowed me to enter before it was cleaned. (Not good employer/employee relations)....

Room 306-A. Great location. Stayed two nights but was charged for three nights parking at $60. Mistake or scam - not sure. Email pointing out error produced no response. Check you bill carefully before checking out!

A friend and I spent two nights in Savannah at the Best Western Savannah Historic District. It provided a very convenient base for walking to all of the beautiful squares, homes, churches, and restaurants. The two concierges, Ali and Liz, were so friendly and helpful in offering tips on great restaurants and sights. We loved having 24-hour access to coffee...

Good location, but the noise is just unbearable. We stayed on the back side of the hotel and heard party noises all night long, but that was nothing compared to the horrendously loud construction starting at 7am in the morning. The white noise machine in the room did nothing to help. There is a sign at the front desk warning...

Nice hotel, everyone was friendly. Great location for walking around. Clean rooms and bathrooms. Great place to stop easy access to everything in downtown Savannah. Would definitely return when I'm back in town.

Forget all the bad reviews, they are doing construction in the back of the hotel on another building but that's all the downfall. My room was clean, breakfast was excellent and front desk provided fast and speedy check in. Parking off site the hotel is $10 which is a stone throw away from them its across the street, on the...

Shabby hotel rooms, very noisy construction, poor maid service, paper-thin walls, bad location, very old, outdated bathrooms. I would never stay here again, nor would I recommend this to anyone, even on a budget. Our beds were not made, the shower didn't work (although it was repaired later), the bathrooms were very shabby and outdated, and the room smelled of...
