Hotel is located near many food and retail options. Comfortable beds. Appears to have been recently renovated. The sleep quality is like any other motel. Car alarms and horns, people talking loudly while roaming grounds, it was a people problem NOT a hotel problem. Tight parking spots make loading/unloaded tough when at a higher capacity, especially for larger vehicles.
The Hungry Detective found this hidden spot off the beaten path in Savannah. If you want to save $300 and use that money for an incredible meal or famous piece art then this is where you want to be…clean pool and well kept property with fresh ice and $1 Pepsi at the vending machine. Family run and maintained to the highest European standards. VERDICT: Guilty of managing a hotel the right way….gray service and clean, clean, clean.
Super – everything what you need is in the room, incl fridge, MW, iron, extra pillow. They have a great bed’s size and a good breakfast. We actually stayed there twice and both times were fine. Thank you!
The hotel is super clean. Everything from the parking lot to Bathroom could not be cleaner. Staff was friendly. Hotel was quite and comfortable. There truly is a full breakfast. I would revisit and stay at this hotel with out question. If your looking for value and good experience, this is it.
We stayed at Best Western Central Inn Savannah and enjoyed some of best sleep I had during my trip. Room clean and staff checked on us daily. Day we left owners were working around property doing maintenance. Friendly staff and great hot breakfast.
We stayed there for 3 nights. The room was spotless when I got in, and even the hangers were dust free. The beds were soft, the pillows were soft, and the sheets were pristine. Best night's sleep I've gotten at a hotel in a while. This has got to be the best 2-star hotel I've ever stayed in. The front desk and the ladies that tended the breakfast were friendly and efficient. The hotel even has a washer and dryer next to the vending machine that you can put quarters in and use, which I thought was an awesome idea, and more hotels should start adopting. Personally, I did not use it as I didn't need to, but it was great knowing it was there if I did. As to location, the hotel is about a 2 minute drive to the mall and a 20-minute drive to downtown. Overall, I would highly recommend it. In fact, should I come back to Savannah, I'm definitely going to stay here again.…
We visited Savannah this past weekend and had booked our room at the quality inn on Abercorn. That was the worst mistake! After getting a refund for our room and leaving we went across the street to the Best Western. What a wonderful stay! Such a nice hotel with wonderful and courteous staff. The lady that checked us in let us see the room first. She not only worked the front desk that night but also the breakfast bar all weekend. When we went to checkout Sunday morning staff had begun washing the doors of the rooms. Very impressive. Very clean hotel. I would recommend this place to anyone.
First let me say that every employee we met during our stay was wonderful - every single one! You can tell that the hotel has had some renovations & updates. The bathroom floors are updated with a type of plank flooring. The room was relatively clean! I am super particular, I admit, but I didn't see dust, or hairs... there was a scummy mark on the bottom side of the toilet (won't get into why I saw that!) But overall, clean. The concerns I had were that the shower/tub handle broke off in my hand during my first shower, and the closeness to the army air strip! Our second night we came back to the hotel early (around 8:00 pm) and thought a missile was headed for us. The sound of a plane landing was unlike anything I have ever heard. My daughter looked at me like we should duck and cover! The only other point that the hotel should consider is that there is a rough texture to the cement walkways, and when you use a roller suitcase, it makes a lot of noise late at night or early in the morning!…
The staff was very friendly upon arrival and the checkin process was fast and easy! The property was clean inside and outside. The staff was polite and respectful. Beds were comfy and breakfast was hot and delicious!
So this was not the best hotel experience. The room was comfortable but the AC was off when we got there so it took a bit to cool the room off. The shower had 1 setting: hot. Actually the shower faucet didn’t even have water running out of it till it was full on and full hot. However, the water temp out of it was tolerable. The towels were small too. The bed was fairly comfortable. Our first room was already occupied so that room a bit to straighten out too. I don’t recommend this place.
