The Marshall house is a great option for people who love the old architecture of the civil war era but are not fond of staying in a bed and breakfast. The hotel has quaint and cozy, however you still have the feel of privacy unlike a more traditional bed and breakfast. The location was also great for walking to the...

Loved every minute of staying here. The room was comfortable and gorgeous. Really added to the atmosphere of being in such a historic and beautiful city. Will definitely stay here again if an when I return to Savannah.

I much prefer hotels with some character and history, and The Marshall House fits the bill. It is an old hotel so the rooms and bathrooms are small with a minimum of storage space, but that is more than overcome by the location, staff and ambiance. It's halfway between the water and the historic district with ample shops and restaurants...

The hotel had a lot of history. It was conveniently located, but on a very commercial street. The staff was very friendly. There is a $10 breakfast option, which was reasonable, but not very exciting. We chose that the first day, but went to a fun breakfast place a few blocks away the next two days.

This was the first time we caught this event; if you can attend, I recommend it. The entire library was spellbound - except for trips to the wine & cheese table. We've stayed at the Marshall house before, and saw things we had never seen before there, thanks to the speaker's direction. I might add, the breakfast buffet is great...

Professional, helpful staff. Great location. Walking distance to everything. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Savannah. Room wasn't huge but it clean and big enough. I wish we didn't miss wine and cheese hour. Maybe next time.

Lots of character but comfortable room. Staff very helpful and friendly. Good breakfast. Brilliant location to explore Savannah on foot. Valet parking is very convenient although there is a charge. The Bistro was quite expensive for dinner.

The Marshall House is a great historic hotel with wonderful ambiance and fantastic staff but the walls and floors are thin. Unfortunately I could hear the person next door snoring and every footfall of the woman upstairs. Other than that, my stay was exceptional. I arrived quite early due to flight times and reception was quite accommodating and got me...

They have a terrific hour long discussion of the history of the hotel and the city- fascinating and well done by the manager and a local historian. Plus they serve free wine and cheese. A very cool experience in a filled lobby full of guests knowing you are the latest attendees stretching back to 1850!! There was a disturbance on...

This was an unplanned trip. We were in the area because my grandson came earlier than expected. What an honor to be able to stay at such a beautiful Inn. We arrived late each of the three nights and were pleased to be greeted with smiles and courtesy. The valet was a gentleman, politely holding doors. The room was elegant!!...
