We stayed only 1 night at the Marshall House and wish it could've been more! The front desk staff is amazing!! The doormen/bellhops are entertaining, friendly and extremely helpful!! Somehow when I booked thru a third-party booking site, our dates got messed up. The Hotel thought we were arriving on Feb 13. We arrived Feb 14. Stephanie took care of...

The oldest Inn [hotel] in Savannah was completely updated in the late 1990's with a 16 Million Dollar renovation. The good news is the historic nature of the building was preserved and its comfort levels increased substantially. If you are looking to stay in the "Historic' section of Savannah, you can't beat the location of the Marshall House. The staff...

The Marshall House is welcoming and well-situated to easily walk anywhere in the Historic District. We even got a happy surprise upgrade to a King Room, which was at the very end of a long hall (a quiet retreat at the back--though the view (if one cares) was of an adjacent parking garage). But as we were only in the...

Thank you Patrick! I'm glad to hear the staff gave you an upgrade. Some of the views are not ideal because the city grew up around the Marshall House over the last 160 years. We are in the heart of historic downtown so Marshall House definitely has an urban, middle-of-everything feel. Happy Travels, Hugh / GM

This hotel is in a decent location and is quaint and clean, but they ignored to tell us when we booked that there may not be parking unless you pay a $25.00 valet fee.Good luck finding a parking space and then you have to keep running out to feed it quarters. Old doors that do not shut tight so it...

Thank you Michelle, We really appreciate critical feedback! We can do nothing about the parking situation in Savannah. It's basically the same as with most downtown hotels where real estate is at a premium. We will work on all the items you point out. Best, Hugh / GM

The wine and cheese reception was especially called for after a long day of travel. I love the aesthetic of The Marshall House, but also the location is great and we always have the best service. We don't stay anywhere else in Savannah.

The Marshall house is in an excellent location. An easy walk to many attractions in Savannah. Our room was attractive and very comfortable. The hotel staff, from the bellmen to the front desk, could not have been nicer. So enjoyed the evening wine and cheese with the historian talk.

We have traveled to Savannah for years but never stayed downtown. We decided to stay at Marshall house because we were traveling without our kids. It's a beautiful hotel and the staff is amazing. They go out of their way to make your stay the best. Free wine and cheese each evening and on Thursday nights a wonderful tour guide...

Loved this hotel in the Historic District! Very old and lovingly preserved. Wonderful to see places like this are still around and not leveled to make room for a "modern" hotel. Loved the southern charm; food was excellent and the wait staff couldn't have been more attentive. Will definitely stay there again next time I'm in Savannah.

Wonderful hotel and great location. The staff were fantastic and so friendly. Upon our arrival, we received champagne and balloons for our anniversary and my husband's birthday. We will definitely return to Marshall House.
