We May Never Stay Anyplace Else in Savannah! Why would we?! Great Location, Great View, Great Room, Great Hospitality Hour, Wonderful Staff! I can't believe the rate we got for a king bed room (which was very large including a large bathroom that a lot of 150 year hotels do not have) all well appointed with a view of the...

Driving down to Florida decided on an overnight stay in Savannah. After researching the many choices of hotels I decided on the Ricer Street Inn. We arrived in the middle of a rainstorm. The staff was most accommodating in allowing us to check in early, bring our belongings up to the room before heading over to the parking garage across...

This place is in the heart of everything! Located right on the River, walking distance to everything! The staff was overly accommodating and kind! The rooms are impeccable! You can walk out the back door and immediately be on the river, or out the front and head in any direction to so much history!

Pros - Location, historic hotel, complimentary wine during happy hour. Cons - Rooms are clean enough but not spotless. Second time here and the room corners are a bit dirty, t.v. area was dusty and shower floor was dirt stained. That being said, we like the place and always stay here.

We go to Savannah periodically and have enjoyed staying at this hotel several times. It is right on the river with outstanding views of the boats and tourists along River Street. The original brickwork and magnificent staircase attest to the historical context of this very special hotel. Some modern amenities include flat screen TV, updated bathrooms with granite countertops, quiet...

Our trip to the room originally was quite confusing. We were put in 301 and to get to said room from the lobby you have to walk past the stairs and main elevator, down a hall, up a ramp, around a corner, to a different elevator, and then down a floor and down that hallway. Very confusing but we made...

On a business trip with spouse and our company chose River Street Inn, Well done. Great location, super staff and very historical. As we were long over due for staying at a "non chain" hotel. OK, so the this old Inn "may" have been short of a modern amenity or 2. However, the fresh coffee in lobby, a worthy breakfast...

Very dissatisfied with the size of our room. Nothing like any of the pictures on their website. The room was so small only one person at a time could walk past the foot of the bed. Also the room has a wood beam and large wood column in the room making space even tighter. No ironing board or iron, and...

Spent a very uncomfortable week at this hotel due to security compromise and negative attitude of front desk clerk. I am a frequent traveler and accustomed to anything and everything. Booked for a week stay to visit with my daughter. First security breach: she was given key access to my room without identification. Next security breach: unfortunately stepped out of...

This historical site has character! If you want to experience a room from the past, stay here. From the furniture to the decor, staying here takes you back in time at least 150 years. We had a balcony room overlooking River Street and we just l-o-v-e-d it. No sliding glass doors to the balcony. No, it was an actual door!...
