Booked two rooms for a family reunion. There was a guy in the parking lot shouting out loud to no one and searching the parking lot for cigarette butts to re-light. The pool was nasty. One of my kids said the bottom of the pool was slimy. The rooms smelled like crack or meth was smoked in there recently. We ended up leaving and not staying there. Didn’t even ask for my money back. Just left to preserve our safety. Would not recommend. The city needs to shut this property down.

We reported the toilet backed up about 8 am. We went out for the day and when we came back at 6:30 pm it still had not been fixed. The best they could do was offer a plunger. This hotel is run down and has lots of deferred maintenance. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

Room was dirty and still had things on the floor when we checked in.. was never cleaned in our 3 nites there. Frig had all shelves broken, no hot or warm water for 2 days, a shot out drivers window next to our room entrance, small knats flying out of bathroom sink and around room, bed sheets stained and one bedsheet a large tear in it. All in all a dirty, disgusting place to stay...felt Unsafe....especially hearing the flighting at 1:30 am next door. The only plus was its good location.

I stayed here with my wife and it was okay. When we got there, there was trash all over the parking lot. There was also a lot of homeless people around there too. The beds were okay and the room had a fridge and microwave and a nice tv. They had a grab and go breakfast.

Upon check in I was told they would be charging our card $100 & if there were no issues, the $100 deposit will be returned to the card within 5-7 business days. One of the room keys did not work and the room stunk of old cigarette smoke and wet carpet.

Vishal answered questions and helped us make a booking. Other staff seemed fine. Room was good. Wifi worked well. Hot water, etc, all good. We quite enjoyed the stay. Bagged breakfast thanks to covid, yes, but better than one we had had recently at another hotel. Parking lot can indeed get full, but in 8 nights only happened to us once. Right along a highway but contrary to some other reviews we did not hear the highway at all. We will be back. Hope you pass it up so we get a great rate. :-) Just kidding.

It was a very hot day and we were looking for a little A/C coolness after a long drive from north of Bellingham, but even after fiddling with the thermostat, it was ridiculously warm in the room. So I went to the swimming pool, which was murky. Full of kids. Next morning we went to the pool and found out why: the water level in both the big and kid’s pools WAS BELOW THE FILTER INTAKES BY SEVERAL INCHES and the pumps were OFF! YUK! so unsanitary… the Health Dept should shut them down… Also, for $115/ night in July, the “breakfast” was pathetic, and first hotel I have been in at that price with no in-room coffee… NEVER AGAIN!

We take the value on your report regarding the condition of the air conditioning system and the cleanliness especially the pool. We will act on these complaints seriously and will fix all problems as soon as possible. We take your business very seriously and assure you that management has taken all the steps to make sure that all the rooms are clean and our ultimate goal is to make sure each guest has a comfortable stay. As for the breakfast service, it has been limited, this time due to the pandemic. Our Hotel is working hard to follow the CDC guidelines, and all of our local county and state recommendations when it comes to Covid-19. We are all doing the best that we can for our valued guests. We hope to be back to normal someday soon, and we thank you for your understanding. Again, thank you for your time and feedback. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. Maid service employees are always busy, friendly and take care of anything you may need replenished for your room. The GM Nimish is easy going, friendly, very fair and professional.

This used to be a Shilo Inns location; the brand Red Lion doesn’t seem to mean quality any more. Very limited and narrow parking. Declining condition: many windows with failed weather seals; peeling ceiling in the shower (sorry I didn’t get a picture); really old TV (seriously, more than a foot deep). But our biggest problem was we chose an option for late check-out and that become a cluster-.... Attached is a picture from the reservation system, late check-out to 3pm for $7. Sweet? We thought so. We were attending an event nearby; I checked in during our dinner break then returned to the event. Realizing I hadn’t confirmed the late check-out, we stopped into the office just after midnight. The clerk had no idea, said it usually would cost “...more like $23...” but she entered a note in the system to let us stay to 2:00 with no fee. Okay. We went down to check out the breakfast before it would close at 10:00 (Sunday). No, not what we would call a breakfast, and the coffee was empty, so we went out. Came back to sleep some more. Just before noon “knock-knock-knock, housekeeping.” I went to the door and explained we were supposed to have extra time. She said it wasn’t on her list, was it 1:00? No, I said, we were told 2:00. She was going to check with the office. At this point I wasn’t going to be able to rest, so we packed it up. I was so disappointed and tired that I was in tears.

This hotel which i booked through travelocity is a rip off. I was charged 136 dollars a night for a tiny, out of date room that was not ready until 2.5 hours after my check in time and they did not accommodate my special request of floor level for a handicapped guest (no elevators) that they assured me i would receive. they also take $150 dollars for "incidentals " that i will get back 4-6 business days after i left. a lady in front of me checking out was almost crying because they had accidentally double charged her for the $150 and she still had to wait the allotted time! The refrigerator was broken, there were ants on my bed, the fan/heater were so loud we couldn't sleep! We got back to our rooms late and had to park across the street at a restaurant and hope we didn't get towed, not enough parking! Great location, if the rest doesn't bother you.
