Boston/Brookline hotels are expensive, and arriving during the Boston Marathon was the worst possible time to be looking for a place to stay, even when booking a month in advance. I knew this was a bed and breakfast inn converted from an old row house, not a hotel, but I expected more for $200. The hardwood floors were covered only...

We only stayed one night but it was charming. The bed was so comfy, so much so we slept in and missed the breakfast :-). Luckily the inn is near some wonderful restaurants and we had a great meal the night before

Martin and Ryan were absolutely great. It was my first time in an inn and I will definitely come back here next time my daughter and I are in Boston. It was very homey and the free snacks downstairs as well as the common oven were great.

A creaky old home full of character is what you'll find at Beacon Inn, along with a staff that is friendly, reasonable, and kind. We stayed two nights and really enjoyed the freshly-baked croissants from the convection oven, and Keurig-brewed coffee that can be adjusted to taste. The house is spotlessly clean and cozy, but it is also over 100...

The desk personnel were extremely helpful and enthusiastically provided information I needed to negotiate the city. I spent most of my weekend at Boston College, which I was able to walk to and from. My room was very clean and spacious. I too would recommend this hotel to a single traveler or couple.

We stayed in the Beacon Inn for two nights. The room was clean and the staff most helpful. We had a chance to interact with two desk persons on duty: Chris and Martin. Both were super nice and extremely helpful! Definitely planning to stay here again.

DON'T STAY HERE!!! We made reservations but, because of our location and travel time we had to cancel due to lack of parking and your "curfew" rules to arrive by 8 pm. I was aghast at the "curfew", upon reading it in our printed confirmation. We live in Upstate NY and are looking at a 6 hour drive! So I...

The desk person was very helpful in every aspect. The housekeeper who I met at coffee and whe was personable. More important the rooms were very very clean and thge baths were spot on I would recommended this spot for a couple or a single traveler, not a family.

We stayed here for a couples weekend away in the city. The hotel was off the beaten path, so if you are looking to stay right in the city, you may want somewhere more central as the Beacon Inn was several T stops away from Kenmore Square. The staff was very accommodating and there is limited off street parking available...

Thank you for staying with us jmby101. We're happy you enjoyed your stay and found us comfortable and quiet. Many of our guests select our property as it is a more comfortable alternative than staying directly downtown and can have a different atmosphere allowing them to enjoy our lovely neighborhood. Please visit us again on your next trip to Boston.
