It is a basic room. It looked nothing like the room picture on the net. Cleanliness of bedding and bath was questionable. Be aware there is no one on duty or in the building from 8 pm to 8 am. I am not an adventurous traveller so I forfeited my room and went to a different hotel

This hotel is the greatest! I just needed a place to stay for a couple nights but I wish I could've stayed longer! The Beacon Inn is not only beautiful and charming but it also has great customer service. Great experience. I'll definitely be back.

We stayed at the 1750 Beacon Street location - Boston Common room (2nd floor). Our room had a king bed (comfortable), a TV, alarm clock, desk and chair, two small bed-side lamps. The bathroom was a stand-up shower for one, a pedestal sink, and a toilet. While it was less than 20 degrees the weekend we stayed, the room was...

I made a reservation to stay at the Beacon Inn in order to attend a conference in Boston the week end of the Head of the Charles Regatta. I called the night before to confirm my reservation and was told I was all set. I drove 3 1/2 hours from Albany, NY. When I got to the Inn I sat...

We stayed at the 1087 Beacon Street location and had many issues with this B&B, but let’s start with the positives, the place is clean, affordable, has a friendly staff and is easy to find. The problems all relate to one theme that is just our unconfirmed guess. We strongly suspect that the owners or operators of this facility have...

I booked one night here, thankfully. There was a bus load of foreign speaking people that were designated to share the 3 other rooms on the floor I was booked in. They were conducting some sort of business in the hallway, in their room and out on the balcony of their room from midnight til 5:30 in the morning. They...

Overall I was a bit disappointed with this hotel having chosen it due to good reviews on TA. To me there are two disadvantages: lack of a lounge or breakfast area and the location. Unusually, there is nowhere at all to hang out at the hotel other than one's room- so no lounge or dining area. The rudimentary continental breakfast...

We checked in to find disgusting, melted soap in the bathroom soap dish. When we went to put our luggage on the bed, we found cereal all over the comforter. The shower was so nasty looking, I would not take a shower in it. Next, I found out the hard way that the drain cover in the bathroom sink had...

We arrived to find that the room I booked weeks ago was not booked for us. We picked out the room over the phone while viewing online with Monica who was very informative about the rooms. We wanted to be on the 3rd floor w/ a bright open room concept so we picked the Kenmore Room after going over several...

We went to Boston for a concert and needed a place to stay for the night. The decision to stay was last minute and we needed a location that was close to a T stop. We chose the 1750 Beacon St Inn because it was inexpensive and just steps from the Dean St T stop. Brookline is a nice area...
