What a great place. I live in Fairbanks so I didn't stay there. I went there because I had some guests come to town and stay there. It is a great place. It is in town. Can go on a city bus to get around. Also near a fun small lake to walk around. Near Creamer's Field to walk around....

This hotel was a great place to stay. Apparently, it was originally built as apartments so it is very roomy. The kitchen is well stocked with all the dishes you need to cook. Grounds are lovely. We were told you can see the Northern Lights from the property, but we couldn't and did not get any wake up calls. Once...

We loved staying at this hotel. I had no idea when I reserved the room what I would be getting. It was wonderful, a small, one bedroom apartment, nicely furnished and very comfortable! A great place to relax, clean, and quiet. It was great to have a kitchen and it was really nice that it was stocked with stainless steel...

Our family traveled to Fairbanks for Christmas/New Years Dec. 2014. We booked a two bedroom suite which included a full kitchen. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We requested a rice cooker, a pack n play and a crok-pot when we checked in. All were delivered to our suite shortly after we arrived in our room. Room was clean and...

We stayed for 10 days over Christmas 2014. This hotel is a GREAT price, clean and comfortable and very conveniently located to most everything (restaurant, shopping, ski trails and the famous Auto Museum which is a MUST see!) The staff met our every need quickly and courteously and there was even a great sledding hill right outside where the snow...

I come to Fairbanks often and stay for a month or more at a time. I like the fact that the Wedgewood is spacious and affordable and I have access to a decent kitchen. The tv channels are passable if you are there for a couple of days, but if you use the Internet for streaming movies, communicating with family,...

Yhis is a late review, we stayed here in Oct 2013. The reception was very friendly and helpful. The whole complex is very big and quite, away from the city. We booked a deluxe 1 bedroom suite, it has a fully equipped kitchen, large TV area, dinning area - the living area is very spacious. The bedroom has a very...

On a recent trip to Fairbanks, I stayed at the Bear Lodge. I thought it was convienently located within walking distance to various restaurants and the car museum. I would strongly recommend this to anyone staying in the Fairbanks area.

On a recent trip to Fairbanks, I selected this property for a combo work/retreat 3-night stay for myself and a colleague. The reviews on TA looked decent and I was willing to do without updated decor for all the benefits it seemed to possess -- large two bedroom accommodations with space to spread out, great rate and beautiful grounds. Unfortunately,...

Stayed at Bear Lodge at this wonderful resort. Beautifully landscaped grounds with lots of walking paths. Quite serene. Friendly staff and clean comfortable rooms. Breakfast was plentiful and staff very attentive. Free shuttle bus into town. Home of the Antique Motor Car Museum which is a must to visit even if you're not a car buff. Wouldn't stay anywhere else...
