Excellent and cozy Lodge with GREAT staff. A BEST place to see Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis), the lights just appear in front of the lodge. The staff is so nice and provide wake up call for Aurora.

We stayed 3 nights in September to see the Aurora Borealis. We chose it for its distance from the city and earlier reviews and a comparatively reasonable price. Staff were exceptionally friendly, and eager to make you feel at home. As advertised they wake everybody up (who wants to be awakened) when the Northern Lights appear in the wee hours....

This cabin was well appointed and nicer then we expected. It looks small from the outside, but it was set up well and felt much larger inside. One bed upstairs with the bathroom, and another bed and pull out couch downstairs. Full kitchen and washer and dryer for you to use. Big family size table for meals and games. Bring...

We only stayed one night at the Mount Aurora Lodge but wished we could stay longer. It had a rustic charm & a homely feel. The staff were fantastic & the views were amazing. Would definitely go back if I was travelling to Alaska again

A very nice and secluded spot. The rooms are basic but just what you need. The breakfast on offer is lovely! However, keep in mind that it is a lodge and sound travels. With people staying up late to view the lights, it's not the place to come for some rest! The shared bathrooms are not really a problem and...

Had a party of five in the Musher's cabin for two nights. The bathroom is upstairs with the shower not behind a door, but there is now a cloth cover to it so if you go up there one at a time it is no problem. The cabin itself is much larger and nicer than it appears on the outside....

I original thought the lodge was a log based but it is a gray metal which I also thought the mushers cabin was it is log but red not brown. After the initial shock the place is charming and quaint especially the cabin. The morning we left we had breakfast the French toast and bacon was fabulous. I also met...

We stayed in Mount Arora lodge for 2 days. Wonderful location in the midst of mountains and woods. 20 miles from fairbanks. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Staff ( Max with his dog Nana) took us on a 2 mile hike around the woods on our last day. Kids loved it. No TV is the rooms...

The building is rustic, inside it is cozy and warm. It is historic, from gold rush time that was moved to the current location. The rooms are upstairs, room had 3 beds and some of them shared a bathroom/shower room in between the rooms with doors on each side. It was like a cross between gold rush period and now-days....

I had to cancel my reservation due to a sudden death in the family. Upon cancelling, I was told that I would be receiving my deposit back. It has been months since then and I never received my deposit back. Subsequent phone calls and emails have gone unanswered. This is just plain poor business practices and I really don't like...
