Disappointed that this hotel is owned/operated/associated with Princess. Fairbanks was the last leg of our Alaskan tour, and it was not pleasant. The front desk and tour/excursions hotel staff were not friendly. We were there on Labor Day, and the excursions staff recommended that we go into town for some great shopping. The shopping experience was horrendous. Not only were...

Stayed here on a Princess land cruise. Great concierge desk to help with tours and questions. Several restaurants in facility. Had nice deck overlooking the river with pretty views. Could bring your own drinks and sit there. Nice gift shop. Toiletries in bulk-shampoo, conditioner, body wash but no lotion. No noise. Free wifi available in room. Breakfast not included. Bathtub...

Arrived late at night and found we were in a handicap accessible room. I prefer a bathtub so this was a problem. The water pressure in the shower was very low. We had a lovely view of the Chena River though! The rooms are small and do not have a refridgerator. The room had a double bed and a twin...

This was our last stop before heading home. This was a nice hotel, the pillows were comfortable. As with all Princess Hotels, I fell you need a refrigerator in the room. It would also be nice if there was a sit down snack area not in the bar. I didn't feel we had enough selection of foods. When you do...

We stayed here 3 nights at the beginning of a Princess Cruise. Transfer from the airport to the hotel was simple and efficient. We ate at the Edgewater restaurant the first evening and had a burger. It was done to our liking and tasty; the waitress was polite and quick. The setting was nice but it was cool in the...

Another cloudy day in Seattle as we waited for our transfer to the airport. Seattle's Sea-Tac airport turned out to much like any other, confusing at first, then we found a young lady who walked us through the self-checkin process, we paid for our luggage, not included in the ticket price, got our boarding passes, went quickly through customs which...

The Fairbanks Riverside Lodge was the final Princess lodge of our land tour through Alaska. Probably the most comfortable beds of the 3 lodges we stayed at. But one thing we found odd was the air conditioning was an older vent-style unit that blew up rather than out. It took a while to cool the room down because the air...

The room was adequate, and service good. The excursions were well organized which made a stress free day to enjoy the riverboat and gold dredge tours. The restaurant food was expensive and mediocre at best. Overall, a good experience which I would highly recommend.
