The Minnie St Inn was our home base for our Fairbanks area adventures. Sightseeing advise from Lambert's Corner (on the Minnie St. Inn website) was helpful in advance trip planning. Brian, the manager, was very helpful and personable throughout our week long stay. We made frequent use of the common kitchen to prepare our meals. Be prepared to remove your...

This is a good place to stay in Fairbanks, a city with not a lot of hotel choices. Large living room, dining area, and kitchen/fridge to use. Rooms are comfortable. Two rooms share one bathroom. Bring your own breakfast. Free coffee and tea. Welcoming caretaker Brian is available for suggestions for things to do and where to eat. As others...

Thanks so much to take the time to tell us your thoughts, I will look again at the sign issue and try and make some changes. I do agree this in not a hostel and our clientele is older and has good order about them. Thanks again. Lambert

I enjoyed the relaxed and home like feel. Very welcoming and enjoyed the use of the grill and kitchen for breakfast and dinner. Everything was in working order but used, just like home. Thanks for sharing.

Good points: This is a very clean, well-kept establishment. The proprietors and staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The downside: No transportation to or from anywhere, so guests without their own vehicle have the option of renting a vehicle, hiring a taxi, or walking. Some basic services are within a half-mile radius, but points of interest are farther than most...

Thank you so much for making this review. I am sorry for the lack of communication from us about parking. I have a vacant lot next to my property for any overflow need for parking. Also there is over 4 hours of activities within walking distance from our house that takes about 3 to 5 minute walk. We are a...

A very nice clean facility with a convenient location for exploring downtown Fairbanks. They no longer serve breakfast or have an outdoor hot tub for public use, but we would definitely stay there again.

I like the decoration of the rooms, both our bedroom and the front desk & kitchen. The bedroom is very clean, pretty, and comfortable. We can see the sunrise in the mornings. The staffs are very friendly. Perfect location within walking distance to downtown area and the Visitor's Center. Negative sides are, the bedroom is a little tiny. And the...

Excellent accommodation I had my own bathroom and excellent size bedroom including recliner rocker! Lambert was excellent with helping out with maps etc. BTW it's easy walking to downtown and Safeway for supplies etc and I also walked to Fred Meyer and Walmart but a little further! Lambert suggested and made calls to get my aurora borealis ticked off my...

I spent a week here. Returning from various winter activities each night, it really felt like I was coming home. Very quiet and peaceful. The place is very neat. Every spot is cleaned to perfection. There has been a lot of effort made here to maintain the cleanliness, so yes, you do need to adhere to some rules, but most...

The Minnie Street Inn is adorable and cozy. It reminds me of my grandparents home (which is a good thing), so I immediately felt at home. The room was a decent size, it didn't have a ton of space extra space, but for two people it was fine. Initially, I was a little concerned about sharing a bathroom (cheaper if...

I had the best experience at Minnie Street Inn. Everything was very clean, cozy, and peaceful. I loved having full use of kitchen to cook and the owners were always seeing if we needed anything and recommended places to visit. The rooms are very comfortable and restrooms always clean. The location is near bus stops, restaurants, museums, etc. Thank you...
