Cannot say enough about this little gem of a hotel near Borough Hall in Brooklyn. Has great neighborhood surrounding it & is easily reachable by several main subway lines. Takes less than 30 minutes to get into NYC. Rooms are well appointed with great design details link a chalkboard in the bathroom. Comfortable bed and ample space in the room...

We appreciate the outstanding review! Always nice to see this from a seasoned reviewer like yourself. We're always striving to be the best. You mentioned all the great aspects of Brooklyn and the hotel. There is so much to see and do and you never have to go into Manhattan! :) We look forward to having you as our guest...

Basically, just follow the TripAdvisor reviews: the NU Hotel is a modern, cool, comfy, hip little spot in a fun corner of Brooklyn. I stayed in a King room with a hammock that, honestly, felt really spacious compared not just to Manhattan rooms but to hotel rooms in general. It was super clean, which is important to me. It being...

Thanks for the detail review! You touched on all great points about our hotel and neighborhood. We're always working to put our best foot forward in every interaction with our guests and community. While you like the current decor we're actually preparing for a property refresh in January 2013. We hope you can come back then to experience the new...

We stayed only one night since we were in town for a wedding. Glad we did! The room was clean, nice sized with a comfortable bed. The bathroom was clean and the chalkboard paint and chalk was fun! My very tall husband was so happy with the height of the shower head.No need to duck! The Nu hotel has a...

Thanks for sharing your great experience! We always like receiving feedback like this. Let's us know we're doing something right! The Neighborhood Friends and Family rate is a great way to receive a discount if you're visiting family in Brooklyn. Our little way of saying thanks to the community! We hope to see you again soon in Brooklyn!

We've stayed here many times and have always been satisfied. The room is comfortable (wished they had king-sized beds, though) and the Wi-Fi is free. Breakfast is provided and is completely adequate. The front desk is extremely helpful and I have to particularly praise Dan as not only helpful but really enthusiastic about customer service. Five blocks to the subway....

Thanks for the outstanding review! Seems like you're a regular of ours. We need to get you into a King Bedded room! We actually do have King size beds available. I'd love to offer an upgrade on your next visit so you can experience the added space and comfort while in Brooklyn. Thanks for the feedback regarding the garage as...

We spent a weekend in July and the Staff was simply FABULOUS! Michael, Shannon, and Christina were wonderful and so very helpful. From tips on the neighbor for "hot" dinner spots, to where the best "ice cream/yogurt" could be found. The room was clean, good size, with a mini bar - awesome! The breakfast buffet was adequate, and good variety...

Nu Hotel, great location for this small, European style hotel with even better care from excellent staff. Eco sensitive, good sized rooms, simple furnishing, clean and fine value. Adequate buffet breakfast part of the deal...but if you want more just step outside... Numerous restaurants, casual and not too costly. Free loaner bikes and helmets. Close to subway, other public transport...a...

We've recently returned after a 4 day stay to visit our son in Brooklyn. We picked this boutique hotel because it was close to where he lives and felt incredibly lucky to have stumbled on such a great place! The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The room was big by NYC standards and we had asked for a quiet...

I need a place to stay in Brooklyn when visiting my family. I've tried Airb&b twice, but both times the beds were too lumpy and soft for my bad back. We appreciate the great review. First, I sincerely apologize about the concern with the AC in the first room. It was indeed one of those incredibly hot days in NYC.
