Reserved this hotel for 3 nights stay. Already requested a large room but even got an upgrade to the largest room available by Mr. Fadeel. Thanks! The room is clean, large, comes with a kitchenette and seating area. The beds are comfy and provides good sleep quality. There is free a washing machine available but the dryer was not working. Williamsburg is a very unique area to stay in NY. Home to the Yiddish Jewish community. Downsides: The breakfast is very poor and can’t be accepted. Parking for $25 daily. 15 minutes walk to the nearest subway station. Not many restaurants in the surrounding streets.
Overall it is a good value for money and a good option to spend few days in NY.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Pointe Plaza. The staff greeted us courteously and in a friendly manner. The lobby was small but modern. The room (double twin) was well maintained and clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The bathroom was spotless. A highlight was that the hot water in the shower was excellent. Overall, I give this 5 stars.
The morning breakfast was just bagels or cereal with oranges available. A greater variety of breakfast options would have been nice but it was nice to have breakfast offered as part of the price.
The only downsides was that there were no restaurants or bars in the immediate area. We had to walk 6 blocks or so to find a place to get a bite to eat and have a beer. In the scheme of things, this was minor.

Got off the beaten path and headed to Brooklyn instead of Manhattan. We took a tour with Tours by Frieda and booked a room at Pointe Plaza which is in the heart of the Williamsburg Hasidic community. This hotel reminds me of a small European hotel. Not fancy, but clean and friendly and close to all we needed. We walked all through Williamsburg and Domino Park, with its beautiful views of the NYC skyline and statue of liberty, is about a mile walk away. Be respectful, have an open mind and dress conservatively while visiting this neighborhood.

I don’t even know where to start, but in short, I wish I didn’t stay here.
The hotel elevator was broken and wouldn’t go to my floor (3rd).
The fitness center (if you want to call it that), was the size of a closet, which all of the cardio machines broken.
There were snacks leftover in the cabinet from prior tenants so clearly the room wasn’t thoroughly cleaned.
Dated hotel with the only decent thing being the cold water dispenser in the lobby

I stayed here one week and it was a pleasant stay. The room is clean and big, the bath was nice to have. The breakfast was good but should finish at 10am not 9am. The location is ok about 30 minute walk to Williamsburg the nice area. Wifi was quite good and staff were friendly.

Pointe Plaza Hotel is in a wonderful borough. I felt safe and it was easy to access transportation. The hotel room exceeded my expectations, especially for the price. It had everything we needed and the staff were super accommodating it helped me with all the questions I had.

We have been extremely disappointing by our experience there. We travel a lot internationally and here, the way their management behaves with customers is under usual standards. There is so much choice in New York, I would recommend anyone to avoid this place at any cost.

We have heard great things about this hotel but have not had the opportunity to stay there yet. What I do want to say though is how great their customer service is and how accomodating there are. My husband was supposed to stay there for a friend's wedding at the end of a business trip to the east coast. Due to the coronavirus scare his flight and trip were canceled. Even though our reservation was non-refundable I called and Saul agreed to cancel it for us due to the circumstances. So thank you, Saul, and thank you Point Plaza Hotel for putting your customers first!

Extremely shocked by the way the heartless hotel "management" (not sure actually if they deserve the "manager" title) has handled our classic request. Not professional at all. It seems they are very greedy. I won't recommend anyone to consider going there.

Depending on what you're into, Uber, biking, or walking are all options. I agree that the immediate area of the hotel is not much for sightseeing or touring around for shops or bars or restaurants or anything. But I always felt very safe walking and biking in the neighborhood.
Hello Survey0r2, you can get the JFK train (upstairs in the airport) to Lorimer station, and there a taxi to Pointe Hotel ( which costs U$S 6 or 7). Then you will use the same train to go to Manhattan when you want.
The people of the hotel are very nice explaining all what you need!
There are more places to choose from in the Brooklyn area.
