This was a two person room with no bathroom in room, walls aren't connected to ceiling so it's like the people in the next room are in your room, rigid rules for checkout -$25 late check out after the stroke of 11am, not real warm feeling with staff, rooms are institutional feel, shower not very hot. Stairs to get to...

24 hour front desk/access is why I chose this as a last minute option. There could be a chance you are placed with rude roommates who are loud and talk while you try to sleep. Train near the window did not bother me. Bathrooms were clean, bed was comfortable, check in/out was easy. Shared rooms are extremely small, no privacy/space...

I booked one bedroom in a 6-person female dorm for 1 night (I was arriving in NY so late it didn't seem worth booking a nice place for the few hours I'd be there this night). I was nervous about sleeping in a room with random people, but was very lucky to arrive to a 2-person dorm, and I was...

Be aware that the walls of these rooms do not reach the ceiling. You can hear other people's conversations right next door. I would stay away as far as Mars is to Jupiter. Unprofessional staff and out there to hustle you. They ripped me off when I got upstairs and saw the no ceiling. Paid and was not refunded. I...

Where do I start. Do not book here it's a farce of a hostel that take money from your account and make up a reason for it like "sleeping in wrong room" despite giving a key to that room and a receipt with the room number on. Staff rude, ignorant, liars and no interest in helping travellers. Hostel dirty, noisy...

When booking my accommodation for my US road trip, I thought that it would be a good idea to stay somewhere else in part two of my New York stint. How wrong I was - didn't not like this place one bit. Staff were unhelpful and the room was a box and the wall did not go right up to...

Rooms are clean, new bedding daily. Walls don't extend to the underside of the ceiling so it can get a bit noisy. Showers and toilets (Toilets have no locks) are frosted glass so not much privacy. Fantastic kitchen for self-catering. Would recommend.

I have traveled more than a month around US, and this one was the worst I have stayed. One of NY subway line is located in the hotel street (above the ground), only few meters from the rooms, the train passes every 10-15 during the day/night with terrible noise. I ordered "private", in my opinion the room is not private...

They know how to TAKE the reservation, but they don't know how to HOLD the reservation. I stayed here two nights ago. Online, I booked a 3 bed room with a private bathroom, paid a bit of a premium for this. When I got there, they said you get whatever room is available upon arrival. NOT happy about this. Why...
