The William Vale is a contemporary luxury hotel in the heart of Williamsburg, featuring world-class hospitality, breathtaking views, elevated public green space, and beyond. All 183 rooms and suites at The William Vale feature floor-to-ceiling windows, open-air balconies, and spectacular views of New York City and its boroughs. Award-winning chef Andrew Carmellini of The Dutch, Locanda Verde, and more, directs The William Vale’s distinct culinary concepts: Leuca, a Southern Italian restaurant with wood-fired coastal cuisine in a casually elegant atmosphere; Westlight, a 22nd-floor rooftop bar, serving rare spirits, craft cocktails and small plates with panoramic skyline views; and Mister Dips, a retrofitted 1974 Airstream, serving burgers, fries, and seasonal dairy dips in Vale Park. Located across the river from Manhattan, The William Vale is easily accessible from LGA (15 min) and JFK (25 min) airports by taxi, and a 10-minute walk to the Bedford L subway stop into Manhattan.

My business trip to New York was such a treat while staying at your hotel , I want to especially thank Darren for such a positive attitude through out my stay! He always made sure my car was ready from valet (I couldn’t be late to any of my appointments & wasn’t) Darren was always willing to help and guide me through NY (my first time) Darren’s customer service skills should be just like his in this industry . William Vale is a beautiful site and hope to return soon!

Hotel's Favourite
I stayed at The William Vale for three nights in November 2019. What an amazing hotel. I was greeted with such kindness and this continued throughout my stay. I booked the king room and my room was situated on the 14th floor. The room was fantastic. Clean, modern and had a fantastic view over Brooklyn. The rooms were big for New York standards. I can’t complain about this hotel. The gym was great, the rooftop bar was fantastic, and all of the facilities were clean and modern. The restaurant located inside the hotel, Luca, was delicious. I dined here for breakfast and dinner. The food was divine and the service was fast and top-notch. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The hotel is in the perfect location in Williamsburg. I highly recommend staying at this hotel if you are visiting Brooklyn.

Really loved my time at the William Vale. I've been a big fan of their rooftop restaurant, Westlight, for some time now. I was so grateful to speak with Darren M, the hotel manager, while setting up my stay. He was accommodating, thoughtful, kind, and made our stay at the hotel an incredible experience that has me excited to return ASAP. The views from the hotel are incredible no matter where you are, the balconies are to die for, and the food at Leuca was delightful as well. Highly recommend this stay!

Brooklyn, New York2 contributions2 helpful votes
In my younger days, when trip advisor was new, I reviewed everything. I can’t even remember my previous handle. As I’ve gotten older, and been able to spend more money on hotels and services, my expectations of service are not unreasonable. We weren’t impressed with our stay at the William Vale. Since the pandemic started we’ve booked many staycations throughout the NYC area and we felt good doing our part supporting an industry that was devastated by COVID. The William Vale boasts its the only luxury hotel in Brooklyn. If this is luxury than, I’d like to know where the 1% goes?? We called the hotel on a Sunday evening around 5:15 and it picked up and continued to keeps on hold for over an hour. We called back, same thing. Even from our room when we requested towels I called twice before getting a human. The art, the aesthetics and the hotel’s physical structure are impressive. But the hotel is lacking heart and soul and most of all service. My husband and I made sure to always get names and we overtip because we know how much $10, $20, or $50 can mean to somebody. It was a pretty room, that they claim is large. On hold recording it says come to William vale where you have “breathing room” - in light of BLM, “I can’t breath” it seems like poorly worded endorsement. Furthermore, it’s not true. The rooms are small. Even the upgraded rooms. Since we couldn’t get a live person at the hotel we called American Express who made our reservations for us and upgraded our room. Upon arrival we were greeted and told that we were wrong. We did not pay for the upgrade and there weren’t any in the hotel. We don’t want to be difficult and the front desk guy must have had video game to return to, but he quickly got us to the wrong room, facing the wrong way. My husband called American Express who then called the hotel and then we got a call in our room to move. Do you think anyone offered assistance? The whole experience leaves a bad taste in our mouths. Not once were we greeted warmly. Anything we asked the hotel the first answer was no. I don’t recommend this hotel unless you like to pay more and get treated like you’re not good enough. The only perk is the balcony either view was great. Don’t waste your money. For real!

It’s incredible, it’s our second time trying to make a reservation at this hotel, and always they have a problem. This second time, we did reservation, an they confirm, we reserved the residences , the most and luxury room. And I call my travel agent to see if it’s possible to have a check in early. And they star saying no, because they have a shooting, but they start putting problems about reservation, they suggest for Monday, and today is Tuesday, we didn’t understand, because we have all the confirmacion by mails. It’s terrible to be treated like this in a “five” star hotel. Never , never go there if you want to be treated like they treat dogs. Very ashamed.
